"Tsk" reacting smugly to the commotion, I find myself to be so bored. I just want to go home already. But their petty miunderstanding has taken the time."Wonderful entrance! Care to share why you are late?" Devin is about to vent his masked frustration to this unfortunate being.
"Uhmmmm..." she thinks while smiling embarassingly. Her apologetic face is pretty and annoying to look at the same time.
As she's standing there, I noticed that she have smooth and straight hair in shoulder length. It was as brown as chocolate. She wears the same uniform as I am but with a black skirt that does not encompass below her knees. Hmmmm, how can I say this? But to my supreme intuition and hollistic world view and righteous judgement over things, I see that she has... slender yet thick... body shape. Don't mistake me as a pervert. All boys at my age have this sixth sense. Completely natural, I assure.
"Sir, I'm sorry for being late. Car broke down and I just ran here."
"Uh-huh" wearing his signature tiger look.
"As you know, miss. I have never tolerated this kind of act in the past nor I will think of it the otherway in the future. Think of this a warning. Now, what you will do is head to the back and get on that vacant seat. Understand?"
She smiled and hurriedly went to the vacant seat on the back. Guess what? That's right, besides me. Poor transferee, she ought to be classmates with world's most uncool teen. The atmosphere around me is enough to make a person be uncomfortable as I observe. Not to mention about my dead eyes. Too much of a bad luck for a person.
I put my arm on the desk with my head on it. Looking out the window with drops of water on the screen, it evoked certain thoughts in my head. They say rain is the symbol of sadness and sorrow. But to my delight, calmness and peace is what stroked my heart. I wished for the Sun earlier to show because being wet is my bane of existence but for now I'll enjoy this weather and each drops that drips on.
This girl already sat beside me. Never noticing because of my frequent monologue in my mind. Her brown hair reflects the light. Maybe because of the angle or she's just naturally charming. I don't really have to care.
"Okay, let's see who's present in the room now. You all have to introduce yourselves in front of the class. Be creative."
Tsk, we do this every year. What's the point even? We'll forget each other after a year later.
"Hello, my name is..."
"I live in..."
"I age..."
A bunch of my classmates introduced theirselves in an irrelevant fashion. I never bothered to listen because they'd do the same to me. It's always been like this. The cycle only continues.
It's my turn. I never rehearsed for I will use the same paragraph I've been using in the past again. I stood up and slowly walked. As I pass by, their eyes are marking me. It feels like they saw an apparition. Good thing that I'm getting used to it.
"So uhhhh... yeah... I'm Virgil Astraea. Currently 17 years old. My hobbies are sleeping and playing video games. I like uhhhh... anime. So yeah, that's it." I talked in awkward manner. God, I wish I could returned to that time and change that embarassing action.
Returning to my seat has never been so cringey. Like what the hell am I doing? The brown haired girl is next after next. But before it, she initiated a small talk between us.
"Pffft, that's a quick one dude. Lazy much?" she said in a teasing way. I realized instantly that she's one of those people. The annoying ones. Those who think they're close with everybody else. All I replied to her is a slight smile.
