November came and went in a wintery haze before welcoming in December.

The snow began to fall more heavily, making the scenery a wintry bliss.

Christmas break was in two weeks and the sky began painting the grounds in white frosty sludge and faint flurries.

The Great Hall was already being decorated for the part.

Gold lights strung up around the hall with red and green fluffy tinsel dancing all around the grand Christmas tree.

Harry, Ron, and Hermione had all decided to stay at Hogwarts for the break and I agreed to stay as well.

With the outburst that I had in Snape's classroom a couple months ago I had to avoid going home as much as I possibly could.

Draco came up to me one Thursday morning with an unhappy glare.

"Hi?" I quip lowly, turning in my seat to face him.

Harry and Ron both send him a glare.

He eyes me for awhile before grabbing my wrist and pulling me away from the table.

I give him a bewildered look as he silently leads me outside of the hall.

"Draco what the heck?" I question, pulling my wrist away from him forcefully.

"Is it true that you're staying here for Christmas break?" Draco probes with an eyebrow raise.

I give him a blank stare, confused on how he even knew that.

The only people who knew that was Apollo, Harry, Ron, Hermione and..

"How do you even—"

"—Theo told me" the blond haired boy cuts off.

Theo.

He lets out a groan, running his hands through his hair.

"Bunny, you have to go back home for Christmas break" Draco pleads.

"And why is that?" I quiz with an eyebrow raise, folding my arms across my chest.

"The Christmas dinner with the Malfoy's and the Loveheart's" Draco states.

I give him a low look, completely forgetting about the annual dinner our families have every year on Christmas Eve.

I let out an awkward cough before straightening out my skirt and regaining my composure.

"Well, that's too bad you're just gonna have to have it without me" I reply coolly.

"Bunny!" Draco groans.

"What? I'm sorry Draco but I'm not ready to face my parents" I mutter.

He lets out a defeated sigh slumping his head against my shoulder.

I rub his back soothingly.
