Also, I would just like to say I am *not* homophobic, it's just for the plot line. Infact, I'm a part of the LGBTQIA+ community myself. I love and accept everyone until/unless they give me a reason not to (being mean/a bully, overall rudeness e.c.t).

~That small village from last time ~
(Nobody's POV)

Gwen soon found herself fixing up every child's outfit in the small town. She found she liked it here, and the children where all respectful, kind, and willing to learn. Apart from one, called Rose. As the self-appointed "king's" daughter, she thought herself too good to have her "already perfect!" dresses tainted by a peasant's dirty fingers. Why she thought that in the first place was beyond anyone's understanding, they where... hideous. "They would be so much better with just a little more length," thought Gwen as she looked sadly at the child before her. The more time she spent around the other children, the worse she felt for Rose. She was never included in anything, never had anyone to eat meals with, to play in the forrest with. She reminded her of the stories her father had told her of a little boy called Matthew Greengrass. She felt a sudden pang at her heart when she thought of her father. He was growing old, and would have to retire soon. It saddened her to think of her father loosing his smiles, his bright eyes, his happiness.

-scene change-

Morgana was storming around the castle, her regal purple skirt bellowing behind her as she made a bee line for the throne room. She was going to have a serious talk with Arthur about who his guards let in and out of the castle; Gwen should never have left. Not today. "With Merlin in the state he's in, she's supposed to be there by his side. And to be his friend.. or is it more? God, I don't even know what to believe anymore, are they dating? I hope not..." she thought to herself. She was swiftly falling for Gwen by the day, not that she would let anybody find out. She couldn't bare to think of the consequences of being cought loving another women, of what would happen if the second in line to the throne was found to be a homosexual. A.. an abnormal. A freak.

I don't really know if this is a scene change or a time skip to be honest soooo yknow

Arthur was resting on a small, leather chair near his manservant. Well, resting as best he could; the seat wasn't nearly the most comfortable and he was beyond the stage of being tired- he was exhausted. Of course, he could have been on his luxurious, golden&red throne, encrusted in rubies, diamonds, and countless other expensive gems from across the lands; a crown upon his head, as he ordered his countless servants and maids around his almost endless amount of land- but why would he want to? After all, his favourite servant (as useless as he was) was right by his side when he was here, his favourite PERSON in the world, ever. Right next to him, by his side, like he always had been, hopefully like he always will be. He didn't know what he would do without him. Probably be.. lonely again, for the first time since Merlin came to Camelot and challenged him to a mace fight. For the first time in almost three years. God, those three years felt like only a few month- time flew when you got to see Merlin's adorable smile everyday. It grows on you.

He was unfortunately startled out of his trance by a, currently very angry looking, Morgana Pendragon. Ofcoarse, she didn't know that he know of her true last name- Merlin isn't a very convincing liar. Or at least that's what the once and future king thought- he still didn't know of his magic. And he wouldn't for a while, if Merlin had it his way, but fate is a cruel thing and Kilgaharrah predicted, with twisted words ofcoarse, that he would find out soon.
