Fateful Departure

Chapter 26

Today's Sunday, which only means one thing. It's their friends get-out today with Heeseung and Jungwon. Sunoo is really looking forward for today's get-out. They already planned yesterday where to go and they decided to go at the humanitarian activity that Heeseung's aunt instigated.

It is a non-profit organization that proceeds to help children. Heeseung opened up the idea to help the organization and to lend them a hand. Since both Sunoo and Jungwon wants to help the children in needs. They decided to hang out with a cause.

Sunoo packed his things carefully. He wants to get ready because it's gonna be a tiring day, and knowing it's gonna be an activity all throughout the day. As he packs towels, extra-shirt, and necessities. Sunghoon came up to him. "I'll drive you."

But then Sunoo immediately rejected him. "Hoonie, you can't. We're taking the hired bus. I don't want to be special being taken there with your car and besides it's a wonderful experience to ride a bus with my friends."

The older guy sighed defeatedly. He can't do anything about it. He badly wants to go with them but there's something he needs to do. "Okay, Just stay safe, don't go around strangers, take your liquids, and please answer my calls." Sunghoon said in a commanding tone.

"Okay, Hoonie. You'll maybe have to order food through online because I'll be tired from the activity. Is it okay with you?" Sunoo asked. The older guy nodded in response. He's kinda sad that he won't taste Sunoo's food right now.

Then after that, Sunoo left the unit leaving the older guy. Sunoo just waited at the front of the condo. He already received a text from Heeseung that the bus is heading towards his way. Not more than a 5 minutes of waiting. The bus arrived and Heeseung got out, looking at Sunoo.

"Sunoo, let's go inside the bus." Heeseung said. The younger guy then walks up to him and goes inside the bus. It seems like there quite a few people in the bus, and all seems to be a volunteers for the said activity.

The settled themselves at the farthest seat. Heeseung on the window corner while Sunoo sat beside him. "Hee, can you text Jungwon?" Sunoo said.

Heeseung texted Jungwon, asking where he is right now or is he going to come. Sadly, they received a text from Jungwon in their group chat that he can't come due to personal reasons. Sunoo really hoped that they would come together and participate this activity as a three.

Heeseung on the other hand has a mixed reactions from the news. He was sad and happy at the same time. He's sad because Jungwon can't come to the activity but he's somewhat glad, he got to hangout with Sunoo alone. It's been awhile since they've hangout together.

He knows that Sunoo took him as a friend, but still, it won't stop him showing his feelings towards him. He'll persevere until the end and might his prayers will be answered that one day, this guy besides him will eventually look at him as a potential lover.

The older guy decided to strike a conversation to Sunoo, he wasn't dense to know that the younger guy was really looking forward to come together as a trio. But then, to ease his worries. He talks about things which eventually made Sunoo came back to his usual cheerful aura.

After like a 30 minutes of driving and 10 minutes of stopping to get other volunteers on their respective places. They arrived at the designated place where the activity will be held. The volunteers left the bus immediately, while both of them stayed in the bus.

After a while, they decided to leave the bus. Heeseung carrying Sunoo's bag while holding his hands. Getting out of the bus, they made their way to the tents where volunteers belongings are placed. Heeseung placed their bags and goes back to Sunoo.
After that, all volunteers started to gather around the tent.
