When he heard the word Shania, his nerves tensed up, his expression became sour, he tightly clenched his fist, and controlling his annoyance. "I don't wanna talk about her." Sunghoon only replied."Why? I thought you wanna know the truth? Now, I decided to tell the truth." Sunoo said eagerly.
"Sunoo, I don't wanna hear any of it. Past is Past." Sunghoon replied in annoyed tone.
"It took me a lot of courage to decide about this and you'll just going to stop me from telling you? What the hell." Sunoo said in also annoyed tone.
"I'll decide what I want to hear or not to hear. So please, let's just bury this one out. We had a great time and let's end that way." Sunghoon replied.
"Please Sunghoon. We can't be together, if i'll never tell you truth." Sunoo said.
"Since you are so EAGER to share about it then let's hear it!" Sunghoon exclaimed. He could only wish that this truth would not destroy them both. The tense atmosphere envelopes around them.
"I never knew you were Shania's boyfriend. She told me she had but she never really introduced you to me. All of it was mystery to me. I had a situation. A difficult one. I met Shania on some social group. We became friends shortly, and we kinda bonded as friends." Sunoo said in quivering tone.
"So she didn't cheat on me?" Sunghoon asked.
Sunoo nodded in response. "I'm sorry Sunghoon. I'm very sorry. You were right. I was the reason why she drifted away from you." Sunoo said.
Sunghoon suddenly tensed up more and the anger from Shania's death came back. All of it came back. His expression turned into angry. He is furious by the sudden explosive confession. "What do you mean!" Sunghoon shouted to Sunoo.
Sunoo's shaking by the sudden raising of voice. He did expect him to get mad but still witnessing it first hand is scary. I mean, who isn't going to be mad when the one you like right now is the one who technically destroyed your past relationship.
"I had a situation, Hoonie. I was in a difficult time. Shania and I met on a social group. We became shortly friends after that. I was emotionally unstable at that time. I shared her about my struggles, and my debacles in life. She was the only person, I confided. Till now, I'm grateful because she brought me back to the ground from the misery. To be honest, I really thought that sharing it with her didn't affect her. But as time passes by, she became invested in my story and wants to help me. She eventually talks to me on the phone every time. She told me positive things always. I think it's her way of helping me. But didn't expect that she would drift away to you by my single action. She purposely avoided you because she couldn't handle the pressure of being in a relationship and helping me at the same time. There's so much going on and she thinks that she needs to prioritize one over the other, and it's helping me. She believes that you would understand eventually why she became distant. I was bulli-" Sunoo is cut off by Sunghoons shout.
"WHAT THE FUCK SUNOO. Can't you just get a therapist or whatever the fuck is it? If you're emotionally unstable then keep it to yourself! Now because of you, We fought, bicker, and blamed each other. But it turns out, I was right. You were and is the pest in our relationship. I knew right away that something's wrong when she's suddenly out of reach. She's on her phone 24/7. I even suspected her of cheating. She became interested on Arts when in our relationship for almost two years, she never made an interest towards Arts. You should've block her!" Sunghoon angrily exclaimed. Sunoo is now crying his tears out hearing this.
"I'm sorry Hoonie. I was in a difficult situation and I needed someone to talk to. I had no one on my side. Not even a friend or a family. I thought a stranger would understand m-" the older guy cutting him off again.
