After Sunoo left the unit, he grabs his luggage and headed down towards the exit of the condominium. A taxi came by in his sight and he decided to ride it since using a public jeepney is going to be a hassle and difficult way to take. As they're headed towards Jungwon's place. The tears are still streaming down in his face.He couldn't believe how the truth could easily break them apart. It only needs a few handful of words and voila...... They're fighting. But at least, he'll never have to face the guilt again. Imagine being the reason why they broke up and you invaded the scene, taking advantage of the situation. He could no longer do that. Both Shania and Sunghoon helped him so much.
He's angry at himself for falling in love with Sunghoon. He never calculated that his feelings would interfere the truth. But now, that it's all out. He could only hope that Sunghoon would try to hear him out and understand his side of story. If not then, what can he do except move on?
It's out of his line to try to force the older guy to listen to him. All he can do is to move on, if Sunghoon decided that he doesn't want anything to do with him. As soon as he arrived at Jungwon's apartment. Jungwon instantly saw Sunoo with a grief and tired face. When Sunoo saw his friend approaching him, his tears fell again instantly. It seems like what he needed the most right now is a friend who can understand him.
"Hey, what happened? Tell me." Jungwon asked as they got inside the apartment and sat in the couch.
"It's all over." Sunoo replied looking down covering his face.
"What do you mean, It's over?" Jungwon asked in disbelief. He knows that they were having a date today. What could something go wrong.
"I told him Jungwon. I told him that I was the one who fucked their relationship." Sunoo replied while still crying.
"Huh, I'm kinda confused." Jungwon said. Sunoo then fills him up about everything except his life. He basically told him about what happened from the date till he left.
"That's what happened. I mean, he has the position to be angry at you but he shouldn't just blame on your part. The dead girl 'Shania' decided it for herself. She chose to distance herself from Sunghoon. So I cannot see the point to blame you all of it." Jungwon said.
"You might have a point, but he's just mad that I am partly the reason. I'm not trying to negate the accountability, In fact, I decided to take it. Shania and Sunghoon has done so much for me. Even the nasty words Sunghoon spewed earlier, I didn't mind all of those. Even when he told me to keep my struggles to myself. But deep down in my heart, If I kept my suffering before, I wouldn't be here right now. He doesn't even care what I've been through but it's okay. I'm not angry at him." Sunoo replied.
Jungwon hugs Sunoo in response. He might not know what Sunoo has faced before, but all he knows that he needs a friend right now.
"What really happened when you were a child Sunoo? Can you tell me?" Jungwon asked.
Sunoo nodded in response. Jungwon might be the second person he will ever tell about his struggles. He wishes Sunghoon to be the second person but now he can't.
--- (Flashback)
It all started when Sunoo was a kid. He is a part of a four person family, living in a moderate lifestyle. They weren't rich and they weren't exactly poor. But in his case, something is definitely different with him. When he was a 7 yrs old, he already knew that he was born from another woman. His father never gave an explanation where his mother was.
He just thought that finding his mother is not his priority at this moment. Being said that, he has a step mom and a step brother. When he was in elementary school, he was bullied because he's the only kid at school who is considered illegitimate child. The children were vile and bad towards him.
