"A Morning Meeting"

Raven awoke to JARVIS's voice filling her room.

                {Good morning Ms. Ward. The current time in New York City is 5:45am. That gives you 45 minutes to shower, an hour and a half for getting dressed , and 15 minutes to get your coffee on the way to the office if you leave promptly at 8am.}

"Thanks JARVIS" Raven said as she got up and walked into the bathroom. She turned the water on just a little colder than she would normally get into so that it could start steaming up the bathroom without using all of the hot water.

Once the bathroom was nice and steamy she stepped into the shower and made sure not to take too long in the warm water. If she could shave off a few minutes of showering and getting ready she might have a couple of spare minutes to stop and say good morning to Loki on her way to the garage, if he was awake that is.

Raven stepped out of the shower and wrapped a thick fuzzy towel around her body. As she walked out of the bathroom she glanced over at the clock and was excited to see that it was only 6:15, she had gained an extra 15 minutes just from her shower. She let out an excited giggle as she ran towards her closet to pick out her outfit BEFORE doing her makeup, she normally did it the other way around so this should help save her a minute or two as well.

She came back out of her closet with the hangers she had selected. Raven went with a simple white button up that had cut out shoulders, a grey skirt that came just above her knees, and a woven leather belt. She was going to go with her black office heels since they went with everything and were very comfortable.

After placing the hangers on her bed she walked over to her vanity to start on her hair and makeup. She went with a quick low bun for her hair and got to work on her makeup. Raven went with a simple smokey eye using a couple different light toned eyeshadows and finished the look off with a bold eyeliner.

Since it was just a simple office meeting Raven decided to not bother with lipstick and just used her peppermint lip balm, the natural peppermint acted as a slight lip plumper as well giving a small pout to her lips. After spraying her setting spray to lock in her makeup she stood up and quickly got dressed.

Raven checked her hair one last time and with that she was ready to walk out of her room. She picked up her purse and glanced over at the clock one last time. It was only 7:30, she had a full half hour before she had to leave and she knew just what she was going to do with the time.

As she entered the elevator she sent her mind out to see if she could connect to Loki.

'Hey are you up?' She asked once she felt a slight connection.

'Yes my pet.' His voice purred in her head and she could tell that he was still half asleep which seemed to be making him extra playful this morning.

'Good. I'll be down in just a bit.' Raven said, ignoring his playful use of one of his other nicknames for her.

'I thought you had a meeting. I don't want you to be late because you took the time to come see me.' His voice now much more awake, less playful with a hint of worry.

Raven stepped out of the elevator and headed towards the kitchen while continuing her mental conversation with Loki.

'Don't worry, I've got plenty of time still, it's only.' She paused to check the time on her phone '7:35 my meeting isn't until 9' She said as she placed the kettle of water on the stove.

'Very well then my darling. I will trust you to keep your own schedule.' His voice said back,

With that she severed the connection and continued about her plan. 20 minutes later the water was boiled, the tea was steeping, and she put the teapot on a small tray with cream and sugar containers. Raven grabbed her travel mug and one teacup; placing the travel mug in her purse and the teacup on the tray, she headed back towards the elevators and pressed the button for the basement level.
