"Ultron took you folks out of play to buy himself time." Fury said after they had finished dinner. He had been waiting for Tony out in the barn earlier when Laura had asked him to look at the tractor. "My contacts all say he's building something." He continued

Raven lightly scoffed, "With the amount of Vibranium he made off with, I don't think it's just one thing."

"What about Ultron himself? "Steve asked leaning against the wall

"Ah. He's easy to track, he's everywhere. Guy's multiplying faster than a Catholic rabbit. Still doesn't help us get an angle on any of his plans though." Fury said, causing Raven to have to stifle a laugh.

"He still going after launch codes?" She asked as she cleared her throat.

"Yes, he is, but he's not making any headway." Fury said as he began making himself a sandwich

"I cracked the Pentagon's firewall in high school on a dare." Tony said sounding slightly shocked

"Yeah, well, I contacted our friends at the NEXUS about that." Fury replied

"NEXUS?" Loki asked

"It's the world internet hub in Oslo, every byte of data flows through there, fastest access on earth." Bruce explained

"So what'd they say?" Clint asked

Fury looked up at him "He's fixated on the missiles, but the codes are constantly being changed."

"By whom?" Tony asked

"Parties unknown." Fury said with a slight shrug

"Do we have an ally?" Nat asked him

"Ultron's got an enemy, that's not the same thing." Raven said

"Still, I'd pay folding money to know who it is." Fury continued

Tony walked over to the rest of the group "I might need to visit Oslo, find our unknown."

Nat sighed as she looked up at Fury, "Well, this is good times, boss, but I was kind of hoping when I saw you, you'd have more than that."

"I do, I have you." Fury paused. "Look, back in the day, I had eyes everywhere, ears everywhere else. You kids had all the tech you could dream of. Here we all are, back on earth, with nothing but our wit, and our will to save the world." He walked towards the table where most of them were seated. "Ultron says the Avengers are the only thing between him and his mission. And whether or not he admits it, his mission is global destruction. All this, laid in a grave. So stand. Outwit the platinum bastard." He said as he sat down next to Nat

"Steve doesn't like that kind of talk." Raven said sarcastically

"You know what Raven?" Steve said in a joking tone while she just smirked at him.

"So what does he want?" Fury asked as he finished his piece of sandwich

"To become better. Better than us. He keeps building bodies." Steve said

"Person bodies. The human form is inefficient, biologically speaking, we're outmoded. But he keeps coming back to it." Tony said

"When you two programmed him to protect the human race, you amazingly failed." Loki said

"They don't need to be protected, they need to evolve. Ultron's going to evolve." Bruce said

"How?" Fury asked him

"Dr. Helen Cho in Seoul. She is a world-renowned geneticist and the leader of the U-GIN Research Group. She helped create a Regeneration Cradle that can heal wounds by grafting a simulacrum of organic tissue to the patient and having it bond to the patient's cells." Bruce answered.
