Raven was shocked when all of a sudden she and Loki went from standing in her closet one moment to now standing in snow near a lake.

"Where are we?" Raven said as she looked out at the sunset in wonder

"Pepper said it's called Crater Lake." Loki said

"I've heard of this place, I've never actually been here though. It's so pretty." Raven sighed, she reached in her pocket to grab her phone but couldn't feel it. She checked her other pocket, it wasn't there either.

"Loki I left my phone behind, what if Tony needs to get ahold of me?" Raven said; she was starting to feel panicked.

"Shh don't worry Love, I have your phone. If someone contacts you I will let you know otherwise I want you to focus on anything other than Steve and Nat." Loki said as he wrapped his arms around her placing his chin on the top of her head.

"There is a cabin just down that way that we can go to whenever you want, or we can just sit here and enjoy the view." He said

Raven was starting to feel calmer as she felt Loki's arms around her and his voice gently vibrating in his throat as he spoke.

"I just want to stay right here in your arms." She said, her voice slightly muffled against him

"As you wish Raven." Loki said as he looked down at her and placed a gentle kiss on her lips.

They stood in silence for a while with Raven's back pressed against Loki's chest as they just watched the sunset. Out of nowhere Raven had a random thought pop into her head. She hadn't thought about it before but for some reason standing here with Loki made her wonder.

"Will I live longer than normal since I'm half light elf?" She asked as she tilted her head backwards to look up at Loki.

"Yes dear, having any elven blood in you means that you will live anywhere from 2,000 to 4,000 years." Loki said, his voice was hushed like he was telling her the worst news in the world.

"Wait what's wrong?" She asked him "Isn't that a good thing? We will have so long together."

"Yes we will have a long time together." Loki hesitated before continuing. "But you will have to watch everyone you know grow old and die. Your aunt, your father, the whole team, all of your friends. You will outlive all of them."

Raven hadn't thought about that aspect. "Oh yeah." She said, her voice now hushed as well

"Well children are supposed to outlive their parents anyways." Raven said, trying to rationalize the reality of the situation.

"Yes but can you handle watching the whole team grow old and die?" Loki asked

Suddenly Raven had a realization and looked up at Loki. "With the job we all have, any one of us could die at any point, hell I almost watched Steve and Nat die on tv today." She said "Death is a sad reality of life, it's what brings us all together."

She could tell Loki was beginning to understand her logic. "And honestly the fact that I could have another 4,000 years with you is probably the best news I could've gotten; especially today," Raven said as she stretched up and gave him a kiss.

"Does that cabin have a heater or anything? I'm getting a little chilly now that the sun has gone down." She said as she nuzzled against his neck.

"Let's go see." Loki said as he wrapped an arm around her waist and they began walking in the direction of the cabin.

"Whose cabin is this?" Raven asked as she and Loki walked in, he went straight over to the fireplace to get a small fire going so that the cabin could begin warming up.
