"A Surprising Invitation"

"Come on Sam." Raven huffed "I have been countering with this SAME move for 3 months, you should know what to do by now." She threw another dagger and just as every time before, it lodged in the gears of his flight suit causing the wings to freeze in place as Sam came falling to the floor, yet again, eliciting a very angry and frustrated groan from deep within Raven.

"Dude, you suck." Pietro chuckled "I picked up on her counters after like 3 days"

"Shut up man." Sam said as he struggled to stand with his wings frozen in an odd position. "Do you mind?" He said to Raven as he pointed towards his wings.

With a wave of her hand the dagger disappeared and his wings closed instantly. "Maybe tomorrow you'll be more focused." Raven sighed "But for today you're done so just...just go." She didn't mean to sound so harsh but after 3 months of literally the same thing she was starting to lose her patience with Sam.

Steve walked in as Sam huffed past him muttering to himself. "What's his issue?" he asked

"He is still missing the same counter shot, so Raven scolded him and sent him to his room." Pietro chuckled

"I didn't send him to his room, I just dismissed him for the day." Raven said as she glared at Pietro "Don't forget, you're up next Sonic the Hedge..."

"For the last time, stop calling me Sonic the Hedgehog. It wasn't funny the first time and it definitely isn't funny the 100th time." Pietro grumbled, cutting her off.

"It's a little funny." Wanda said, earning herself a glare of betrayal from her twin. "What? It is."

"Look, maybe if you start wearing something other than blue and white all time then maybe I'll stop, until then...let's see what you've got...Sonic." She chuckled as Pietro came speeding towards her in a blur as she quickly teleported a couple feet to left, much to her surprise Pietro was already there when she reappeared sending her flying through the air as he slammed into her at full speed.

Pietro came to halt next to where she was now laying sprawled on the floor. "Maybe I'll keep wearing what I want and you'll stop calling me Sonic regardless." He chuckled as he offered her a hand to help her stand up.

"You're right, I would've seen Sonic coming." Raven chuckled, "I promise from this day forward I will no longer call you Sonic the Hedgehog...You are WAY more like the Flash."

"Ughhhhhhh" Pietro groaned, annoyed "Why do I even bother?"

"I honestly don't know." Raven chuckled "But I think you're done for the day, you actually knocked me pretty good; I'm impressed."

Pietro beamed like a child that just passed a hard test. "Really?" he asked, his voice filled with excitement and a sense of pride

"Yeah, I honestly did NOT see that coming." She chuckled as she rubbed her neck "And don't worry, I'll make sure Loki doesn't hurt you too badly." The way the color drained from Pietro's face made Raven burst out laughing, she couldn't hold her composure any more. "I'm kidding Pietro. Seriously...Loki wouldn't hold you responsible for any injuries I incur during a training session, unless you were truly intent on harming me; in that case you're as good as dead." Raven chuckled.

Pietro was still kind of skittish when it came to being around Loki, Raven couldn't figure out why exactly, he just seemed to become very nervous whenever Loki entered a room he was in and if Pietro started to enter a room and noticed that Loki was already there, he would immediately turn around and leave without saying anything.

"Can we talk later on tonight though?" Raven asked before Pietro had fully left the training area.

"Um sure." Pietro said
