At the sight of the enemy, Mr. Bug positioned himself in front of Ghost, in a gesture almost too protective of his former enemy.

Le Corbeau watched them curiously, his large glasses making him look almost surprised. He stuck a leg inside the room before taking a blue yoyo on his beak.

Mr. Bug: Where is that lucky charm of yours ?

Antony had no idea how well his enemy knew his powers but now he was the one to have the lucky charm and the capacity would get pretty useful when it could give anything to help beat his opponent.

For once, Antony was the victim of this power.

Surprisingly enough, the raven did not hesitate to show him, by opening the palm of his hand. Hand, in which was a simple pair of small round earrings. Antony understood the message very well and his enemy too.

Without adding more, he rushed at him.

Antony had to give up distance combat for this time, having to ensure a more melee combat than ever. He could see that in his attacks, Le Corbeau had a priority, either to put him to the ground or directly to tear the miraculous from his ears.

If he succeeded in taking them off, Antony would lose instantly both his secret identity and any protection that his power could give him.

During that time, Ghost sort of took refuge to the side, watching them fight. They were trying to figure out why the infamous Mister Bug was thinking about the book. At first glance, it would be hard to assume such things, the bird didn't seem to have any book shaped thing on him. Ghost had plenty of time to analyze his costume from all angles while Antony was being beaten up.

But the superhero wasn't wrong after all, for having that book for so long they could recognize the energy and it was too similar to it, to be only a mere coincidence.

How this enemy was using it, surely was a mystery that puzzled even such a skilled wizard as Ghost. But they didn't have time to think about it any longer, the two fighters slipping through the window in their brawls.

Ghost huffed, coming to the window and lazily letting himself fall from the same exit.

Obviously, Antony caught him before they could touch the ground, both ending up on the roof of the hotel.

Antony: What are you doing ?!

Ghost: You wanted me on your side, no ?

Their enemies followed them, arriving on the rooftop as well. Ready to continue his battle and determined to defeat that lame superhero.

Gladly, it was at that moment that Ghost felt it. The book’s magic was leaking around, in a way that no one else could feel. At the end of their fingers Ghost felt these little sparks and in a gesture, as a test, throwed a spell at the enemy, freezing him in place.

Antony:… Okay, since WHEN can you do that ?

They felt amused by the little touch of fear in Antony’s voice before remembering they sadly were on his side.

Ghost: He got the power of the book, of course if he’s close enough I can get some back. This is just a beginner's spell.

Antony: You will be more useful than I thought…

Ghost: I expected a “Thank you” not how you’re so happy to use me. By the way, it doesn’t hold that long.

Before the superhero could do anything with this information, he was knocked to the ground.

Ghost: Hahahaha, I could have told you that earlier couldn't I ?

Antony could feel that somehow, it was a bit deserved. While he was struggling to keep Le Corbeau’s hand far from his ears.
