Amanda's POV

Due to the fact that I haven't been getting any quality time to myself with me now being a mother and all, Connor made arrangements for us to do a small vacation getaway, and wanted me to leave the babies at his parents. The thought of having a tan on the sandy beaches of the Bahamas did sound pleasant, but because I grew so accustomed to having the boys around, I insisted that he brought them with us.

So, here we are, at the Cabbage Beach in Bahamas. Everything about this was mesmerizing, from the white silky sand that embedded itself between our toes when we walk, to the beautiful tides that crashed against each other.

We've been on the beach for quite a while before we decided to go and get some lunch. We stopped at a nearby food cafe, had our meal, and then I made my way to the hotel with the boys, because Connor said that he had something to go collect from a friend of his and that it was a "surprise." I was excited to say the least, and the way that I had a little bounce in my steps on the way to the room was all the clarification that someone needed to know that I was having a wonderful day.

Opening the room door to the penthouse of the hotel, I came in contact with Tanya. She was standing there, just eyeing the boys with an indecipherable look plasted on her face.

I didn't let that bother me though, and squealed at the thought of having one of my best friends on the trip with me. I rushed over  to her in order to give her a hug, but stopped dead in my tracks halfway when I caught a  glimpse of a shiny material hidden underneath her hood, but still visibly showing.

It was a knife.

She had a knife.

What was she doing with a knife?...

The big smile that was heavily plasted on my face vanished, and I just stood there, looking at her with a confused look.

Emily then entered the room and my jaw dropped.

"T-tanya, wh-what's going on?" I stuttered, my eyes flashing between both of them.

She stood there for a good minute before responding. "You know," she started off, "everything was going according to plan."

She sniffed, "My life was finally getting perfect. Just like you, I met Connor one night at a club. He took me to his place, and we made love, and it was so good. It was more than good. Perfect is the way to describe it. And just like you, he threw me out of his house the next day."

I stared at her in disbelief. If whatever she was saying was true, then how comes no one spoke about it? Why didn't she say anything about it?

She continued speaking, "I fell in love, I didn't care that he threw me out, or that he didn't want anything to do with me. I made it my mission to see him again. Ofcourse, I tried going back to his place, but the security there was really tight, so that was never an option. And then that fool cheated on you, so I recommended for us to go to the exact same club that we met that night, and he was there. The love of my life was there. But you, you just had to let him notice you. You just had to let him want you. I convinced myself that we were friends, and that friends share what they love, so I didn't say anything. But you got pregnant. You got pregnant!" she screamed at me.

It was then that I felt two massive and unfamiliar arms wrap themselves around me.
I just stared, struggling in his grip, yet unable to move. I was shocked and scared at the same time.

"You stupid bitch!" she yelled, tears flowing down her eyes. "Why did you have to get pregnant?"

It was then that Liam decided to make his presence known, and let out a sneeze. Everyone's eyes flashed over the the stroller that was near the front door.

Tanya took slow menacing steps towards them, and I felt my heart tighten up in my chest as she placed the blade of the knife on Liams cheek.

"Tanya, please." I begged. "Don't hurt them."

"Oh," she began, "I can't hurt my precious babies, now can I?

"Emily!" she started, "please take them to the car."

"Abigail, this wasn't a part of the plan," Emily spoke.

"Shut up!" she screamed in response "if you ever want to see your kid again, then I suggest that you do as I say. You were always the weakest and dumbest of the three of us, always allowing your emotions to get the best of you. Abigail was dumb, too; a menace in my life. She just always seemed to want what's mine. From stealing Connor from me, to "accidentally bumping" into his mom in Canada in hopes of getting back with what's mine. She really thought that I wouldn't find out. So, i did what any other woman would do to protect what's hers; I killed her." Emily gasped, while Tanya chuckled, "Abigail was nothing. She was never my sister. She was just some whore that I had the displeasure of sharing similar names with."

Abigail...

It all hit me as to where I've heard the Thompson name before. Tanya is a Thompson. Emily is a Thompson.

Tanya Abigail Thompson.

Emily Thompson.

Tanya and Emily are sisters.

I struggled against the man that was holding me hostage but it was no use. I saw Tanya nod her head at him, and just like that, my entire world went black.
