Connor's POV
Who knew that making custom necklaces would take that long?
It was over an hour since Amanda and I split up at the cafe, and I missed my family dearly.
I tried ringing her phone to notify her that I'm on my way, but the calls led to a voicemail.
I didn't think much of it, and decided to make my way back to the hotel to surprise her with what I had.
When I got there, the door was already open, which was strange because it doesn't seem like something that Amanda would do. I made my way into the living room area. Things were shifted around a bit, and a vase was on the floor, shattered into a million pieces, with a tiny bit of blood on the carpet. My heart rate went though the roof.
Maybe she had an accident with the boys? They can be quite the handful at times. Maybe Liam was the one who knocked the vase over when he was playing?
But there's only so much that a six month old can do.
I searched the entire area. The bedroom, the kitchen, the bathroom, the balcony. Heck, I even checked the closet, but there was no sign of anyone. They were gone.
I requested for the camera footage from the hotel today, but was told that they can't show something so important to just any or everyone without having the police or a PI to accompany me.
I went through a different mixture of emotions. My blood boiled at the thought of hurting whosoever that took my soon to be wife and children away from me, but also at the same time, I want to wake up from whatever nightmare this was.

It has been three days since they have been missing, and the conversation that took place between that time span made me feel numb to my core.
I quickly called the police, and each and every person back home. Sasha went through the roof when she found out, my parents offered to send two of their best detective friends to help the police search, Jade was livid and wanted to hurt whosoever that took her bestfriend and nephews, Tony and Amanda's parents were busy blaming me for what happened and I couldn't get a hold of Tanya.
"When you get in touch with Tanya, please share the news with her. I'll fly you guys out tonight. I need as much help as I can to find them." I spoke over the phone.
"Yeah, whatever," Tony started off. "Just know that I'm doing this for my sister and my nephews. They should've taken you instead, you dick!"
"Tony, stop it, please. Now is not the time to argue," Sasha spoke. "Connor, we thought that Tanya was with you guys. She left yesterday, saying that Amanda said that she wanted her over there with you guys."
"What do you mean?" I questioned, "Amanda didn't tell me anything about this, and if Tanya did fly out yesterday, she would've gotten here since last night. It's 2:37pm."
"But we brought her to the airport, and we watched her board the flight. I have a bad feeling about this," Jade butted in .
"What do you mean?" I asked
"When she left, she said she had something to get rid of over there. Something that was blocking the way to her..... happiness."
The silence was deafening.
"No, it can't be...I think...." Amanda's mom began.
"...Tanya is the reason why they're missing." I finished for her.

Everyone was seated in tbe living room area, carefully catching what was being displayed on the laptop screen. It was footage of Tuesday afternoon, and all that took place before I got back. The woman in the grey hoodie's face flashed in the direction of the camera, and Sasha took that moment to pause the video. Lo and behold, it was Tanya."I don't understand why she'd do this," Jade cried into Tony's arms.
After staring at the screen for what felt like forever, realization dawned in on me.
"I think I do..."
