Prisoners and the truth.

Natalie's POV

When we got back to camp i was the first one there, adveyes -i still don't know his name- and wells were fighting, wells had a knife to adveyes throat. Clarke and Finn came up from behind me. "Wells, let him go!" Clarke demanded.

Wells let him go and pushed him away, adveyes cam charging back but Bellamy got in his way.  "Enough, Murphy."

So his name is murphy.. cool.

Bellamy looked to his right and saw Octavia, leaning on Monty for support, he ran over to her. "Octavia!" He yelled as he took her from Monty. "Are you alright?"

"Yeah." She untangled her self from Bellamys' grasp.

"Where's the food?" Bellamy asked.

"We didn't make it to mount weather." Finn explained.

"What the hell happened out there."

"We were attacked." I spoke up.

"Attacked." Wells said looking confused. "By what."

"Not what.. who." Finn corrected. "Turns put the last man from the ground who died on the ark, he wasn't the last grounder."

"It's true, everything we thought we knew about the ground is wrong, there are people here, survivors." Clarke explained. "The good news is, that means we can survive, radiation won't kill us."

"Yeah, bad news is, the grounders will." I pointed out.

"Wheres the kid with the goggles?" Wells looked around for Jasper.

"Jasper was hit with a spear." I said. "The grounders took him."

Clark looked down at Wells' wrist. "Where's your wrist band?" She asked.

Wells looked down and then upto Bellamy. "Ask him."

"How many?" Clarke demanded.

"Twenty-four and counting." Murphy interupted from behind Wells.

Clarke stared at murphy for a second the looked at Bellamy. "You idiots, life support on the Ark is failing, that's why they sent us down here, they need to know the ground is survivable again and we need their help against whoever is out there." She stared up at the crowd of people standing on the hill looking down. "Take off your wristbands and you're not just killing them, you're killing us too."

"Oh look, princess is at it again." I started to rant. "In my opinion, we are perfectly  capable of surviving on our own. I dont care if the people up there die, theres noone up there that i care for, Wells dad made sure of that."

"We're stronger than you think, Clarke." Bellamy turned and faced the crowd then began pacing. "Don't listen to her, she's one of the privileged, if they come down here she'll have it good, how many of you can say the same? We can take care of ourselves, those wristbands on your arms make you prisoners, we're not prisoners any more. They say they'll forgive you for your crimes, but I say, you are not criminals, you, are fighters, survivors. The grounders should be afraid of us!"

"Yeah!" Everyone in the crowd yelled.

Clark walked away towards the dropship, Monty followed.

I walked up to Bellamy and tapped him on the shoulder. "Good pep talk guardsman." I laughed. "I'm Natalie.. Collins."

"Bellamy Blake." He put out his hand and i shook it. "You're Finns little sister? Right?"

"Right." I said keeping eye contact, i had to look up because he was about a head taller that, but he had the most beautiful brown eyes.

"You seem so much different from him."

"I can be at times, but i guess we have the same opinions sometimes. It seems to be the same with you and Octavia, your not the same."

"Well that's because i got to grow up out of one room, while she had to live under the floor for most of her life, until, my mistake."

"I'm sorry, i didn't mean to bring up the past."

"It's alright, i don't mind, kind of seems like we're in the same situation."

"You and Finn are, it's seems like Octavia and I have a lot in common except for the fact that i just had to hide in a hidden closet in the wall, but almost the same thing, oh and i was caught for stealing medical supplies, not for, being, born.."

"If you dont mind me asking, why steal medical supplies?"

I felt tears start to form in my eyes, i blinked and looked at Bellamy, i could tell that he saw the look in my eyes because he gave me a worried look.

"It's okay you don't have to talk about it if your not comfortable with it." He said wiping a tear from my cheek.

I relized it was getting dark out and we were still standing in the middle of the feild where everything went down, i hadn't realized everyone had left while we were talking. "I would be more comfortable, if we were sitting down, my feet arw killing me."

Bellamy looked around i could tell he hadn't noticed either. "We can go talk in my tent, if you would like."

"Yeah, that would be nice."

Bellamy started walking towards camp, i followed. When we got to his tent, he held up his door for me and i walked in, he came in after me and motioned for me to sit on the bed, i did so and started my story.

My mother had been sick for a while now and the medics wouldn't help her, they said that she was way over the limit amount of treatments and medication, that noone in our family could ever be get medication again because we were over the limit, when my father went to talk to the medics, something went down causing him to get floated for it. I couldn't even go to my own fathers execution to say good bye because i was the second child and i would lose my mother too if i did so. My mother got worse and i couldnt bare it anymore so, one night while everyone was asleep, i snuck out to the medical branch and stole some of the medication that my mother needed, when i was on my way back to my sleeping quarters i got caught, they asked for my name, when i said i couldnt give it too them, finn came out and told them to put me down, i ran into his arms and then the guards followed us home. I was put into prison for 2 years and my mother was floated for having a second child. I was the reason for my mothers death.

When i finished i burst into tears. Bellamy moved closer to me and put one of his arms around me and held my hand with the other. I barried my face into his chest -i was making a complete fool out of myself-. Bellamy laid me down on his bed, got up and walked out of the tent, when he came back Finn was with him. Finn came up to me picked me up and brought me out of the tent, he laid me down in the dropship, and sat next to me holding my hand. "It's okay, it's okay." He said until i fell asleep...
