Chapter 5

Time skip to first episode of Naruto *wink wink*~

"Hey! Get back here!"

"you'll never catch me!!" A blonde exclaims running away from Chunnins and Jonins, laughing at his pranks, the Hokage faces were vandalised by none other than Naruto.

However, in the end Iruka found Naruto and dragged him back to class...

"Ai-san, i'm sorry to keep bothering you but it's Naruto again, he painted the Hokage faces." Iruka informed Ai.

Whilst Ai replied nochalantly "I see, i'll have to reprimind him for that when we get home, i apologize for that Iruka-san." she raised an eye brown at Naruto who just looked away pouting but she was highly amused at this prank on the inside. I mean its not everyday you see someone who has the guts to paint the Hokage mountains and give the Hokages of the village a makeover, which was highly amusing.

"Lets head home Naruto, after you clean this up." She says raising an eyebrow and tapping her feet.

Naruto complains childishly"but nee-chaann!"

"No buts Naruto, you should have thought twice about painting the Hokage faces and for this stunt you pulled i'm going to delay this new technique i was going to teach you... and now you must face the consequences...no matter how amusing the makeover the Hokages have..." she trails off at the end as a hint of a smile creeps on her face. 

"And after you're done i'm sure Iruka-san would be kind enough to treat you to some ramen right?" she says looking at Iruka.

"err...well-" Iruka stammers.

"you are right Iruka-san?" She says smiling way too sweet as Iruka starts sweating, "umm of course!" he replies a bit too quickly. 'Ai-san can be scary when she wants!'  Iruka thought.

After Naruto cleaned up, he went home, going inside he saw Sasuke again, but had gotten used to his presence since he more or less was at their house all the time. Ai not only became a mother-sister figure to Naruto but also to Sasuke which he does not admit outloud, since he is an Uchiha and Uchihas are too proud for those things. Although, Sasuke is most grateful for that even if he doens't admit it, he enjoys being around Ai and even Naruto which he would never reveal. They have regular arguments which is expected, but even if both don't realize, over these few years, their bond is strong, they're just like brothers.

"Now boys, you should get a good nights sleep, tomorrow is your genin exam right? i have the upmost confidence you'll pass and show them what you got! With all that training you guys certainly will ace it!" Ai exclaims and looks proudly to both her boys. Her smile is sincere and warm, Sasuke and Naruto both smile back, well Sasuke most likely is a smirk but all the same.

"Yeah!/hn." They both say.

On the night stand, Ai stares at a photo of herself in between two boys.

Uchiha Shisui and Uchiha Itachi. Of course she keeps this hidden, it would not be wise for Sasuke to see it, otherwise it would rouse him, especially the hatred he feels for the older Uchiha.

It was a devastating moment when she first found out Shisui's death, nonetheless a few weeks after, the Uchiha massacre happened. They were all very close, yet she knew the boys kept some secrets to themselves, especially regarding problems with the clan. She was sure. She was sure Itachi had a reeason to do what he did, even if it was something that was unforgiveable because she knew him. She knew him very well and could read him like an open book, yet she felt helpless when she couldn't do anything to help.

Without her knowing , there were tears that slipped down her face, she may not have realised but, she missed them both dearly, as they were her best friends. She snifled and tried to make them stop, but at this moment she had kept it in so much there was no stopping the tears, she wiped them but they fell continously like the heacy rain in amegakure. 

That night she weeped for Shisui, for Itachi. "I-Itachi....S-Shisui....why did you have to leave...?" her voice came out lightly.

Little did she know, a certain lazy silver gravity defying ninja watched her weep, being unable to appear next to her and comfort her, his heart felt heavy watching Ai cry her heart out for her fallen friend and a certain rogue ninja. He left a note for her by the window before disappearing into the night...
