Chapter 6

The morning after, Ai had slept after crying to her heart's content. She did not like letting people see her at her weakest, she felt like a burden to them. Although she may have been lonely, she now has two boys that will fill that void in her heart, she has found her two precious people. Knowing this her heart feels warm.

Ai's POV

Awakened by the ray if sunlight peeking through my curtains, I recall my breakdown from yesterday. I hope Naruto and Sasuke didn't notice, I don't want to worry them. Getting up, I see a note by my window.
What is this?
Opening it i see some writing.

Ai,
It's been a while, it's Kakashi, the Hokage would like to ask if you'd want to become a co-sensei with me for this year's genin. He would like an answer in no more than a few days, and he would reinstate you as an elite Jonin. I hope you will agree to this, I'm looking forward to working with you, perhaps we could catch up on a bit along the way.

Hatake Kakashi.

Kakashi? I haven't heard about him from awhile, i frowned staring at this piece of paper.

Me? A sensei? I'm not too sure about that......but knowing hoe hazardous both naruto and sasuke are , i believe that i have this gut feeling that Kakashi is going to be their sensei, with him been the student if Minato-san, Naruto's father but also he possesses the sharingan therefore it would be an advantage as he could help Sasuke with his.

After much contemplation of this, i decide to go wake Sasuke and Naruto.

Walking into their rooms i shout "Naruto! Sasuke! It's time to wake up, you don't want to be late for your genin exams today!"

Of course sasuke is the first to wake up, i giggle seeing his bed head from waking up, surely its not everyday you see the Uchiha with this hair. I have to see its cute though.

Seeing me giggle, Sasuke blushes a bit and looks away.

Now i head to Naruto's room, he's sprawled across the bed, i shake him lightly, but he does not awaken still.

So i go for the last resort.

"Naruto! Ichiraku Ramen is going to shut down today!"

At this, he shoots up from his sleep.
"What??!!! How!? Why?! I have to get there and speak to Old man Teuchi!"

I simply laugh at this, but then he sees that this was merely a joke.

"Okaa-san!! Why did you have to worry me like that!" Naruto whines to me.
I smile mischiviously. "Well Naruto, i believe its the most efficient way to wake you up, now , you have to get ready for the big exam today!"

After sending both Naruto and Sasuke to the academy, i go grocery shopping.
Lets see we need milk, tomatoes, rice and ..........

Then as i already have bought everything i needed, i head home.

However as i was lost in my thoughts about the offer , the hospital and Naruto and Sasuke, i didn't realize i walked into someone, causing me to fall backwards and hit the ground.

"Itai!"
I apologize quickly without getting up and already giving a bow. "I'm so sorry! I wasn't paying attention and knocked into you! I assure you it won't happen again!"

"Ai?" This familiar voice said.

Looking up i see no other than the copy cat ninja . Hatake Kakashi!

I blush, having walked into him, at all times it had to be now! I feel embarassed, with all my grocery shopping laid around me.

"Kakashi-san? Oh kami! I'm sorry again! Are you okay? "

"Yes , i'm perfectly fine , but certainly i should be the one asking if you are alright. " He then chuckles at me.

Then giving me a hand like the gentleman he is, i take his hand and stand upright, but also recovering my bags , and as i do this he says "Let me help you. "

"Err- Kakashi-san? That's not necessary, i can take them myself. " I exclaim whilst trying to retrieve my bags from him, but then he holds them above my head "Sorry no can do, i'd like to help and as you know i don't back down easily. "

Knowing he is correct i sigh and accept it.

Now we head to my house to drop of the groceries.

When we arrive at my house, i invite him in and then place the bags down and thank him sincerely.

The ambiance was peaceful and comforting even though it was silent. As i lead him out to the door he asks "Have you thought about your decision yet?"
"I have, but i'm still not too sure. "
I say with uncertainty but then he nods, and i bid him farewell, but before he leaves, he takes a strand of my hair and place it behind my ear.

"Er-sorry, your hair was in your way, thought it would be better if its to the side. Anyways you look more beautiful without it covering your face. " He says and smiles at me.

My face heats up at this compliment, not used to them.

"T-thank you Kakashi-san,i'll t-take note of that. "

After that encounter, i wait alone in my house until the boys return.
