Chapter 11 The Forest of Chakra

After the battle, they headed off to Tazuna's house where they rested. 

The morning after, Ai walked into Kakashi's room to check for anymore injuries, turning him around slowly, her hands glowed green inspecting for visible wounds, then team 7 walked in the room looking worried. "Is Kakashi-sensei going to be okay?" Sakura asked with an anxious expression.

Ai turned to her as a smile graced her features "Of course, his chakra's just depleted, he'll be fine in no time, you have nothing to worry about."

Then hearing the noise around Kakashi awoke, he sat up slowly as Ai warned "Careful, you're still going to be sore." 

"Thanks"

"Sensei, I know the sharingan's powerful and all but if this happens everytime don't you think you might as well not use it? It takes a great toll on your body." Sakura asked worriedly.

"Sakura, it is important for a ninja to use what they have as it comes in use but you are correct in a way but we all have assets that make us different and are important for us to use wisely. The sharingan is a unique power and many desire to possess it." Ai told her.

"Well you did defeat one hell of a ninja back there." Tazuna commented.

"There's something suspicious about it though..." Kakashi muttered while his eyebrows creased as a frown marred his face.

"Certainly. Tracker ninjas are meant to decapitate rogue ninjas but that didn't happen and his choice of weapon too." Ai added thoughtfully.

"Senbon." Sasuke's eyes widened.

"So what we mean is, Zabuza's still alive!" 

"WHAT?!" Tazuna, Naruto and Sakura exclaimed loudly in unison.

"But, aren't you overthinking this?"

"No, as a ninja we have to take extra precautions and now we must train before he strikes again."Kakashi stated.

Naruto was shaking and suddenly burst out "Yeah!" he was fired up and excited as he could battle again.

"Sensei, but you're still injured!" Sakura told him.

"Sakura we must prepare before Zabuza strikes and it should be a week before he heals."

"He's right." Ai agreed and nodded her head.

Then, they all made their way to the forest, the 3 went ahead whilst Ai helped Kakashi up and going, taking his arm and putting it around her shoulders to support him. He gave her a one eyed smile to show his thanks.

As they both got to the place, the trees surrounded them all and Kakashi started "Today we're going to learn about chakra control and Ai here will show you a demonstration of what you're going to be doing: tree climbing." 

They all deadpanned at him, "Tree climbing? but we already know how to do that..." 

Ai just smiled and walked up to a tree and started to walk up it and faces of awe stared at her as she made her way up the tree vertically.

"Now you see, you have to do this with just your feet, now make this handsign, focus chakra to your feet and run up the tree to have a better start."

They all gulped and was determined to execute this, well Sasuke and Naruto was as Ai shot down 3 kunais next to their feet. Picking up the kunai they looked at each other and then raced up the tree, but neither was successful, meanwhile...

"Hey! It's nice up here~" Sakura's voice echoed down as all heads turned to look up, there she was sat on a branch and smiling.

"Looks like the female of this team has the best chakra control, maybe she has a higher chance at becoming Hokage and it seems the Uchiha clan doesn't have much to offer..." Kakashi's voice trailed off as he tried to motivate them as Naruto cheered trying to hide how frustrated he is and Sasuke scoffs lightly.

"Way to go Sakura-chan!"

"Well done Sakura, chakra control is a gift, not many possess such good control, this can be a powerful asset, I may be able to help you develop this into an offensive attack." Ai complimented her.

Sakura beamed at her smiling "Really? Thank you! and I would love to learn!"

"Sakura, you can go guard Tazuna as these two can keep practicing till they get it."

Then Ai and Kakashi stayed to watch the progress of the two, "I didn't know you were skilled in kenjutsu?" 

Ai smiled nervously "I'm not that good, it's just something I liked but I don't use it often as I don't find it necessary, seals are my forte, they don't call me a seals mistress for nothing ya know?" she joked and prodded him on the shoulder lightly and laughed and Kakashi joined in on that.

"They've both grown so much already, in a blink of an eye they're going to be adults, I hope they don't experience anymore of the cruelty of the ninja world, but they're going to become strong for sure, I just know it."

"Of course, Sasuke does hail from the Uchiha clan and Naruto...Minato's kid huh." 

"you got that right! but his personality is definitely Kushina's!" Ai laughed wholeheartedly. Then they sat there until evening and Ai fell asleep on Kakashi's shoulder, he didn't want to wake her yet so he decided to carry her bridal style since he had healed rapidly thanks to Ai and he wanted to make sure she had enough rest. He kept her close to him and made sure she was comfortable and lightly kissed her head, her face was serene and peaceful.

Walking back to the house, as he opened the door, right there were his students staring at him "What do you think you're doing to my kaa-chan Kakashi-sensei!" Naruto exclaimed loudly arousing the attention of others.

"Wha-?" Kakashi was gobsmacked and unexpecting that Naruto would make assumptions as a slight blush creeped up his face.

"Dobe! Don't you see her sleeping, you're going to wake her." Even though Sasuke said this, his eyebrow was twitching as well.

Ai began to stir and woke up "What's all this noise?" Her eyelids opened slowly and she looked to see everyone staring at her. Blinking many times she was clueless at what was happening.

"Ai kaa-chan you can't go out with him! He's old and...and no I haven't approved yet! That book he reads is porn ya know!" Naruto kept trying to argue and Ai was giggling at his assumptions and reassured "Kakashi-san's just a friend ya know, and even if I get married you're always going to be my little boy, you too Sasuke."

Nevertheless Naruto huffed and at the side there was an imaginary arrow shot right through Kakashi's heart as Ai stated allowed that they are only friends. Friendzoned.

I kinda lost interest a bit in writing >< hopefully I will be able to update more often because omg I've received wonderful comments and so glad you're all enjoying it! Hopefully you all like this chapter! ^^

hhahahah a bit of KakashiXAi here LOOL but then haha the ending sorry to disappoint all you KakashiXAi shippers XD
