Chapter 9: Initiate School Mode

Hawk lazily opens his eyes as the morning light hits his face. Turning over away from the sunlight, he then meets the bright pink eyes of Nora.

Nora: "Morning, sleepyhead! Time to wake up!" She says before hitting him on the side of the head with a pillow.

Hawk: Unamused but unfortunately awake. "Good morning, Nora." He then sits up as the others are getting dressed. "*yawn*I see you decided to let me sleep a bit longer."

Pyrrha: "Actually, Nora was supposed to wake you up 10 minutes ago."

Nora: "What!? I couldn't help it. He looks so handsome when he's asleep."

Dante(mental): "Mental note, watch that one."

Ren: "Oof, talk about bed-hair. You might wanna go take a shower."

Pyrrha: "I agree. Besides, we have about two and a half hours before class starts, so you won't have to rush."

Hawk: Grabbing his school uniform and a toothbrush. "You spoil me too much." 

Pyrrha: "I-uh--um, well...I'm just looking after our team, is all." Hawk closes the door behind him as he enters the bathroom.

Nora: "Ooooh! Pyrrha's got a crush~!"

Pyrrha: "No, I do not!" He hears from the other side of the door.

After several minutes in the shower and brushing his teeth, and putting his uniform on. He prepares to leave the bathroom.

Dante(mental): "Ah. Ah. Forgetting something, Mr. Schnee?"

Hawk(mental): Looking in the mirror to realize he forgot to re-dye his hair. "Fuck! I can't let them see me like this...especially Weiss. She'd blow a fucking gasket."

Hawk: Knocking on the bathroom door. "Hey! Is anyone still out there?"

Ren: "Oh. Hawk, it's just me. Nora and Pyrrha went to get us some breakfast. Is something wrong?"

Hawk: "Yes. I seem to have forgotten to grab something from my bag. It should be in a black bottle-like container on one of the side pockets."

Ren: "Oh sure thing, give me a moment." After several minutes. "Hawk? Why do you have a hair dye kit?"

Hawk(mental): "FUCK!"

Dante(mental): "Maybe we shouldn't have asked the kid who has a bit of his hair dyed."

Ren: "Look, I'll give it to you, but you have to show me what your real hair color is. Deal?"

Hawk: "You won't tell anyone. I'm a bit... self-conscious about it."

Ren: "Hehehe. The great Branwen swordsman is embarrassed by his hair...I won't tell a soul." Hawk exits the bathroom as Ren's eyes widen a bit. "Huh. I wasn't expecting white. Say from a certain angle you kind of looks like Weiss, or like her brother or something along those lines."

Hawk: "Yes, yes, now give it here." The hair dye kit from Ren.

A couple of minutes later, he walks out of the bathroom, his hair now back to the red he had before. Just in time as Nora and Pyrrha come back with breakfast for everyone. After eating, they hear a loud whistle from across the hall and Ruby yelling something about waking up.

Hawk: "They choose now to wake up. We only have 20 minutes before class."

Pyrrha: "I guess they just wanted to sleep in."
