CH.6 I Can't Help It

Peter:"Yeah I do."He said as his eyes never left me. I smiled, more than happy to see him again. I ran to him and hugged him. God he even fely different...and good.
MJ:"I miss you, tiger."I whisper in his ear.
Peter:"I miss you more."He whispers back.
Danielle:"AWWWW!"
We all laugh.
10 minutes later....

Me and Peter was talking outside while everyone else was inside. I'm happy they left me and Peter and alone. But, it made me even MORE nervous. Me and Peter were talking about how he popped my favorite balloon on my 7th birthday.
Peter:"It wasn't my fault, Danielle dared me to." He said with a laugh.
MJ:"It was your fault! There's one thing you should never do is listen to Danielle." I said, smiling.
Then, we heard police sirens. Peter looked up and looked on full alert.
Peter:"Uh- I..gotta go." He said as he got up.
MJ:"Where are you going?" I asked, disappointed.
Peter:"I need to go check on Gwen."
WHO'S GWEN?!?!?!?!
Peter:"You don't know Gwen, but I need to check up on her and I'll come back."
I nodded, still fucking confused.
He ran off. He runs fast, I thought.
Is Gwen his girlfriend, friend, or whoever. My mind was swirming with unanswerd questions. I went back into the house.
May:"Where's Peter?"
MJ:"Somewhere."
They went back to talking, but Danielle sensed I was upset. I guess I wasted my time.

Peter POV
God she looked beautiful today. I put on my suit and ran off. The Goblin again, I thought.
I heard his evil laugh and saw him flying towards the bridge. I was swinging quickly enough to get to him. He was grabbing people and throwing them towards the water. I shot a web at them and stuck them to the side of the bridge. I found a huge metal device and and threw at him. He knocked me off his glider, but I used my webshooters and shot a web at it and swung it. He fell to the ground and got up off the floor.
Goblin:"You think you got me, spidey, but I got you."
I looked around and saw a bomb.
Uh-oh.
I shot a web and started swinging. I almost had him. I heard his sinister laughter and thought about what he would do next. I just hope nobody gets hurt.

Mary Jane POV
I was still sad about Peter having a girlfriend. Danielle tried to make me feel better but again...she's not helping.
Danielle:"Look, it could be his EX-girlfriend and probably got worried or something."
MJ:"I knew we were never meant to be."
Danielle:"Look, I've always shipped you two when we were young, you never know MJ. He could have feelings for you too."
MJ:"You don't know that."I mumbled into my pillow.
I've never cried over a boy before. It's just that...Peter is different.
Danielle:"You know MJ, ever since Peter saw you, that boy hasn't stopped staring at you."
MJ:"That doesn't mean anything." I said a I grabbed a tissue.
Danielle:"Oh my gosh Mary Jane, I've never seen you like this over a boy before."
I sat up.
MJ:"The thing is..I love Peter. I love him so much I can't think of a way to express it to you. Being in love with him is in my skin. I can actually feel it in my skin."
Danielle:"He could feel the same way MJ, like I said, you never know."
