CH.14 Torture

The next week, everything opened and we went back to school. As me and Danielle were walking we saw Peter and Gwen holding hands. HOLDING HANDS?!?!?!?! I knew right then and there they are dating. That talk we had that night. He said he don't have feelings for her. I don't know if I should believe anything he says now.
Danielle:"WHAT THE FUCK!!!!!"
Everybody looked at us with wide eyes.
MJ:"Don't worry. Me and him are friends."
I hade to stay strong. Friends. It sounded better for me and him. We couldn't be what we wanted to be.......
Danielle looked at me like I was literally crazy. And I was.
Danielle:"You sure about that MJ?"
MJ:"I'm sure. I'll move on like he did. It wouldn't be so hard."
Danielle:"Ok.........."
We started walking up to Peter and Gwen and I noticed some guy was staring at me.
MJ:"Hi guys."
Peter:"Hey."
Gwen:"Hi."
Danielle:"Oh god......"
MJ:"So it's official now?" I said as I pointed at them.
They looked at each other with a 'should we tell her' look.
Gwen:"Yeah, actually." She said with a bright smile.
MJ:"Well, you two look great together."
Gwen:"Thank you."
She looked surprised.
Then the same guy that was staring at ne walked up to us. What does he want?
Peter:"Hey Harry."
Harry:"Hi. Who are these beautiful ladies?"
I blushed...a little. But Danielle was blushing like hell. She looked at me and raised her eyebrows.
Peter:"Uh, this is Mary Jane and her cousin Danielle."
Harry:"Hello." He said as he grabbed Danielle's hand and kissed it.
Danielle:"Helloo. What a gentlemen." She whisper in my ear.
MJ:"Hi." I said with my arms crossed and a fake smile.
Harry:"I'm Harry Osborn." He said as he shook my hand. WAIT.....OSBORN?!?! His dad is the Green Goblin! Does he even know?!?! I quickly recover my almost panic attack.
MJ:"Mary Jane Watson."
Harry:"I knew your name was unique. Like you."
I blushed...again. Danielle could not stop smiling.
MJ:"Well, thank you." I said smiling.
Gwen:"Okay Harry, no flirting with her." She said as she started walking with me and Danielle.
Harry:"I'm just stating facts." He said as he look at me. Gwen kisses Peter and walks with us. Now she knows it feels to kiss those lips.
Gwen:"I hope you don't mind with me and Peter........"
Danielle kept looking at my face.
MJ:"No. No. No, I don't mind. Me and Peter are like family to each other. Nothing more than that."
Danielle's face was red from holding in her laugh. She knew I was a good liar.
Gwen:"Oh okay. I just didn't want it to be..you know...awkward."
Oh it is.
MJ:"No it won't even be like that." I said with a reassuring smile.
Lie.
Gwen:"So what is Peter like in relationships?"
I have no idea.
MJ:"You're his first girlfriend, actually."
As far as I know....
Danielle:"Actually MJ was gonna be his first girlfriend and first love." She muttered.
Fucking Danielle.
I start coughing and laughing.
Gwen:"Huh?"
Danielle:"I was agreeing with MJ."
Gwen:"Oh."
We walk into the girls bathroom and Gwen went into the stall. Once Gwen went in there, Danielle starts laughing so hard, but silently. I shook my head and mouthed 'dumb ass'. She laughs even harder where to the point her face becomes red.

Peter POV
Me and Harry were still sitting down and we were STILL talking about MJ. Well, Harry was. I've never seen him crazy about a girl before. But I get what he's feeling. MJ isn't just a girl. She's more than that. She like an angel that heaven has sent down on Earth. I had that crazy feeling when I first laid eyes on her.
Harry:"She's like a goddess and god she's so fucking beautiful!"
Harry acts like I don't know this already. I was laughing how dumb he was standing up on the table.
Peter:"Harry I think you should sit down." I said, still laughing.
He finally sat down and, thankfully calmed down.
Harry:"But dude when I looked at her it was like I didn't see no one else. I didn't even see her cousin!"
Peter:"Wow." I said sarcastically.
Harry:"I'm serious. She's so..ooooo!" He screams.
Peter:"Umm...okay." I said with a laugh.
Then, we saw MJ, Gwen, and Danielle walking up to us. Gwen is beautiful, but MJ is..wow.
I immediately stop looking at MJ and look at Harry, who's eyes was glued to MJ.
MJ:"The bell's about to ring."
We all grab our stuff and walk to class..together. Yep, this is gonna be awkward.
