CH.8 Complications

Mary Jane POV
OH MY GOD!!

I almost kiss Peter TWICE today. I'm more than happy right now. I've been smiling in all of my classes. I can't even properly think right now. But, it was almost kisses. Not a REAL kiss. Danielle would not shut up about it.
Danielle:" HE ALMOST FUCKING KISSED YOU TWICE TODAY MARY JANE WATSON!!!!!! "
MJ:"Okay Dani. Calm down." I said laughing at how idiotic she looked jumping up and down.
Danielle:" And you said he didn't want you, you're out of your fucking mind." She said breathlessly. Then, Anna came in the room.
Anna:"Mary Jane?"
MJ:"Yeah?"
Anna:"Can you run to the store to get me some frozen shrimp please?"
MJ:"Sure."
Anna:"Dani, get the girls ready for their baths, please?"
Danielle:"Okay."
I put on my jacket and started walking outside.

Peter POV
There was no sign of the Goblin. Suprisingly. Nothing was happening tonight, really. I was swinging around New York and it was quiet. Then I spotted a redhead walking. Mary Jane. What was she doing out so late? I was crawling on the walls and started following her, to make sure she will make it home safe.
She walks into a grocery store. I was relieved.

Mary Jane POV
I walk into the store and go straight to the frozen food. I found the shrimp and go in line.
Lady #1:"What is a young lady out so late buying shrimp?" She said as she rang up the shrimp and she laughed at the thought. I did too.
MJ:"My aunt cooks pretty late."
Lady #1:"That seems different. Just be careful and be safe."
I nod my head.
Lady #1:"Oh and don't take the alleyway. It's really dangerous sweetheart."
Oh god........
MJ:"Ok." I fake smile, trying to hide how scared I was.
Lady #1:"Have a good night."
MJ:"You too."
I'm happy she gave me that warning about the alleyway. I walk out and start walking fast. God it's so fucking cold in New York.
California weather didn't try to freeze you to death. I felt like someone was following me. I turn around and see no one. I start walking walking faster, practically running. Then I hear some men voices.
Man #1:"Where you going pretty thang?!"
Fear starts rising. I need to get out of here. As I start to run faster, another guy comes out of nowhere in front of me.
Man #2:"Come here sexy."
I started running and running. Good thing I used to do track. I stop running, realizing where I'm going. There was no other direction but.....THE ALLEYWAY!
OH MY GOD!

I DON'T KNOW WHERE TO GO!!!!!!
"Don't take the alleyway. It's really dangerous sweetheart."
The lady's warning came back to me. Then I heard their voices again.
Man #3:"There she is!"
I take off into the alleyway the even MORE guys come out of nowhere in front of me and block my way through. The man grab my throat and my breast and try to kiss me. I pull away and keep fighting. The other guy push me up agsinst the wall and try to take my clothes off. I scream and scream and scream, but there is no response. Out of nowhere I see red and blue flash before my very own eyes.
Spiderman!
I heard A LOT about him. He's basically a superhero. Not many people call him that though.
He shoots a web at them and starts fighting them. They all run off like a bunch of pussies.
Spiderman walks up to me slowly and cautiously.
Spiderman:"You alright?"
I nodded, still scared.
Spiderman:"You want me to take you home?"
I nodded yes.
Spiderman:"Alright. Come here."He said as he grabbed me.
He shoots a web and starts swinging. I'm not the average girl that's afraid of heights. It looked so beautiful seeing New York from a far. I told him where I live and we make it to my house.
MJ:"Thank you."
Spiderman:"You're welcome. What's your name?"
MJ:"Mary Jane Watson."
Spiderman:"Nice meeting you Mary Jane."
He leaves and I suddenly become happy to have someone like him in New York. But he sounded so familiar. I know I've heard that voice before. I walk into the house with a worried pair of eyes.
Anna:"Mary Jane! What happened?!"
A miracle happened Anna, I thought jokingly.
