"you don't miss what you had with cinnia?" asked ben chilwell, "you were both so cute. made for each other just about."

jack let out a sigh, "no, ben, i don't want to talk about it right now."

ben grew close to cinnia during the time that her and jack were together. he knows exactly what she's going through at the moment and how things between them unfolded.

he even knows jack's half of the story, which cinnia is still yet to know.

"when was the last time you saw her?" asked ben.
jack shrugged his shoulders, "not too sure to be honest. maybe since the breakup."

"have you seen her lately, jack? she's not the same," ben told him.
jack eyed ben before ignoring his words.

"mate, you know why i done it, it was better for her," said jack.
"then at least let her know. she cries herself to sleep every single night, jack, she doesn't deserve this. you know i'm your mate but cin and i have grown quite close and i'm just looking out for her right now," ben explained.

jack nodded his head, "yeah... don't blame ya."
"thanks mate, just give her a call or something. just let her know everything so she can be at peace," said ben.

jack sighed once again, "i just don't want to be the reason for her pain. i know she's going to be hurt when i tell her."

"jack, she's hurt now that you haven't told her. she's going to be hurt either way but she can at least move on from you when she knows," ben said.

"ugh, mate," jack sighed, "you're right."

"that's it," ben said, letting out a small smile, "you'll feel better once you've done it as well. and so will cins."

a tear rolled from cinnia's eye as she looked through old pictures of her and jack together.

whatever she does, she can't rid the urge to see herself with him just one more time.

maybe he just needs some space right now. he'll be back, she told herself.

in the meantime, however, she's waiting with open arms for the man from birmingham. she'll continue to only think fondly of him as she's got no reason not to. all she wants is jack back. her jack back.

cinnia will stop at just about nothing to make sure it happens.
