chapter vii. rehearsal

- Danielle's POV -

Gerard <3: I'm heading over right now :)

Danielle: Just saw your twitter notification handsome ;)

Gerard <3: Saw yours too beautiful ;)

Danielle: We should be there in about 30 mins.

Gerard <3: Just show security your tickets and they should let you through

Danielle: And if they don't will my prince charming help me?

Gerard <3: Of course m'lady

Danielle: Are the guys gonna be there?

Gerard <3: Your friend can hang out with them and we can have time to ourselves ;)

Danielle: Sounds good, I'll see you there prince charming <3

I smiled at the text messages and I noticed Sophia trying to look over my shoulder.

"Hey! Hey! Keep your eyes on the road missy!" I swatted my hand around my head and laughed.

Sophia pulled into our parking space in the parking garage located near the Vic and checked to make sure we had our phones and tickets.

"Danielle, what am I supposed to do while you're on your date?"

"Oh yeah! Gerard said that the guys are gonna' be there so you can hang out with them. Frank and Ray brought their wives and Mikey brought his fiancée so they'll be there too." I said with a smile and stepped out of the car.

"Where are we going, may I ask?"

"To find security," We started walking out of the parking garage, "We apparently just need to show them our tickets and they'll let us in to see Gerard." I shrugged my shoulders and we quickly ran across the street and entered the theatre.

"Tickets." The security guard demanded and Sophia and I sifted through our purses, showing them the tickets.

"Alright, Mr. Way is rehearsing so you'll have to wait for him." He said moving away from the entrance.

"Okay, thank you sir." Sophia and I walked over to the wall the security guard had pointed to and I immediately pulled out my phone.

Danielle: We're here :D

Gerard <3: Great! Just finishing rehearsal and then I'll be out

Danielle: Where are the guys?

Gerard <3: Oh they're back here with me. I'll send them out to find you guys

"Gee just said he was sending the guys out." I looked over at Sophia with a huge grin.

"You're so fucking excited aren't you?" She asked.

"Is it that obvious?" I said, my smile drooping a bit, "Sophia, what if I fuck this date up?" I lost my perfect posture and held my fingertips to my temples.

"Danielle, if you do fuck it up, who cares? It's your first date with him! Just take a deep breath. Everything will be a-ok." She said hugging me tightly.

"Hey Danielle and Sophia!" I heard Ray yell from behind my back. I broke the hug and turned around, giving the guys and their girls a small wave.

"Gee'll be out in a minute. He's 'touching up' his makeup." Frank said to me.
