The three of us walked down the hallway and towards the elevators, heading to the lobby. Fortunately, the weather wasn't all too bad today. It wasn't supposed to be terribly cold, but there wasn't going to be a whole lot of sunshine.

We quickly made it out of the lobby and outside, breathing in the fresh air. Gerard led us in the direction of where he thought the park was.

And like I suspected, we got lost.

Terribly lost.

We tried retracing out steps, but like that would actually work.

Hah. Don't think so.

Eventually, I pulled out my cell, and with what little cell reception I had, pulled up a map and we successfully got... 'unlost'.

Turns out the park we were looking for was only a block away from the hotel... but in the opposite direction of where we were heading previously.

"And we're finally here." Gerard says, finally setting Aleah down on her feet.

Lea immediately ran off to the nearest slide where I waited at the bottom to catch her. She repeated the same thing a few times over, Gerard and I switching between who was going to catch her at the bottom, before she got bored of being at the park.

"I done." She announced, raising her arms up to me so I'd pick her up.

"Already?" I asked, a little shocked since she usually begs to go to parks.

She nods her head and I look over at Gerard for a reaction. He just shrugs his shoulders.

"You sure princess?" He asks and she nods her head again.

"What time is it Gee?" I look over at him, adjusting Aleah on my hip.

"Uhm, let's see... 2:30ish." He looks down at his watch, then up at me.

"She's probably exhausted, it's a little past her nap time."

"Speaking of Lea, Would you mind if I introduced you to the person I was talking about that could probably take care of her while we go out for dinner?"

"Oh yeah, I almost forgot about who was going to take care of Aleah." I look down at her to see that she closed her eyes, probably trying to get a nap in.

"I'll just have to make sure she isn't busy with rehearsals or anything." He scratches at his hairline, looking through what I presume is his contact list before calling this 'she-human'.

"Sorry to bother you, but I have to ask of a huge favor." I listen in on a little bit on the conversation, rocking back and forth on my feet to help Aleah get a little bit of sleep.

"Could you pretty pretty please with a cherry on top watch my girlfriend's daughter for the night?"

"Yeah, I was wondering if we could stop by so you could get acquainted with them and all."

"Yep, yep. Sounds good. See ya' soon." He smiles at the end of the conversation and I can just hope it went well.

"So who is this she-human anyways?" I follow Gerard out of the park, hoping he knows where he's going this time around.

"So you know the band that opened for me at my concert?" He turns his head slightly, continuing to walk.

"Yeah, they were Nuns or something like that, right?"

"Yeppity, yep, yep. So the drummer is what you refer to as a 'she-human', and her and the band are touring with me and jazz." Of course, Gerard being Gerard, he adds the jazz hands at the end of his sentence making me laugh a little bit.
