I'm Going To Be Okay

I sat on the cold hard tile floor in the bathroom shaking, gripping the toilet. The words repeated in my head "Are you anorexic?" Without even thinking I blurted out "No!" I stood up and flushed the toilet and walked out to wash my hands and rinse out my mouth. Amelia followed close behind. "Then why did you throw up?" She asked. I shrugged "Bad breakfast I guess, come on, were gunna be late for lunch with the girls." I said walking out.

We walked into the cafeteria and me and Amelia got on line. "Sooo im supposed to make sure you eat....but dont take anything they make here, its GROSS. Here have an apple or something." She picked up and apple from the rack and tossed it to me. "Erm, cool thanks." I got the apple and a bottle of water and Amelia got an apple, a sandwhich and juice. Once we checked out she led me to a table with a couple of other girls and sat down. I sat across from her.

"Aria, these are my friends Olivia, Lily, Jessica and Emily." "Hi!" One of them smiled at me picking up a fork full of salad. "Hi" I waved shyly sinking into my chair and biting the apple.

Amelia talked to her friends most of the time and occasionly tried to add me to the conversation but i just stayed pretty silent. The girls seemed nice, they talked to me towards the end and on our way back from lunch.

"So where did you used to live before this?" Lily asked. "Oh not to far from here.....a couple hours." I said not wanting to get into my past "Why did you move?" Olivia asked "Well...umm...my uh...my dad he uh got a n-new job..." "Oh okay cool." The questions were simple but kept coming and were hard to answer. By the end of the day i was so glad to get home.

When i finally arrived Demi ran up to me and hugged me. "Umm hi...." I said being squished by her. "How was school!? Did you make any new friends!?" I giggled. "It was fine, i made a couple, me and Amelia are really close now." "Oh thats nice....does she uh..know?" Demi asked. "No but shes a bit suspicious, so lay low and stop telling her to check up on me would you." I tossed my bag down and walked up into my room crashing onto my bed and pulling out my phone to text Amelia.

Aria: Hi :)

Amelia: Hey bestie ;)

Aria: Whats up bestie ;)

Amelia: Nm just bored :P WANNA HANG OUT!?

Aria: Haha, maybe. What did you have in mind?

Amelia: Me and Emily are going to see a movie, you wanna tag along?

Aria: Sure, I gotta ask my mom though :/ Where is it?

Amelia: LA Theater, have your mom drop you off and bring some money for a ticket and food!

Aria: Kk seeya in 10, im sure my mom will let me go lol

I smiled locking my phone and racing downstairs to Demi. "Mom! Mom! Guess what! Guess what!!!" She giggled at how excited I was "Haha whats up beautiful?" "Amelia wants me to go the movies with her and her friend Emily tonight!!! Can I go! Please! Ive never had a real friend!" I begged. "Aw sweetie, of course you can! Do need any money?" "Just for a ticket." "And what about food?" She asked suppiciously, "Amelias parents have it covered! Its all good!" I lied. "Alright fine. Where is it?" "LA Theater." "Oh thats not to far get in the car we'll go." "YAY!" I screamed running out to the car.

After the movie we decided to go to the mall and maybe have some lunch.

"Emily! Emily! Cute boy alert! Cute boy alert!" Me and Emily giggled but played along. "Where!? Where!?" Emily asked looking around. "Over there!" Amelia pointed to a tall boy with ruffly brown hair and a striped shirt on with a leather jacket and blue skinny jeans. "I call him!" I yelled. "No way! Finders keepers!" Amelia said. "Ladies ladies please, we all know he wouldnt want either of you two freaks." Emily straightened herself up and fixed her hair. "He wants me" She said sticking her nose up in the air." We all burst out laughing. "Yaaa okay. Im sure he wants a girl who peed her pants when I snuck up behind her in fifth grade." She said still dying. "That was three years ago Amelia! I know he loves me." She said gazing at him. "Then talk to him hot shot." Amelia said. Emily thought for a minute but then said "Okay i will!" She stood up and walked over to the boy tapping him on the shoulder. "Excuse me, but your extremly hot." She said He chuckled "Umm thank you, but I think im a bit to old for you." "Hmf, whatever. Here take my card in case you change your mind hot stuffz." She winked pulling something out of her back pocket and handing it to him. "Uh, this is a blank napkin." He said. "Hell ya it is." After that me and Amelia couldnt contain our laughter anymore and burst out laughing. "That couldnt have gone any worse Emily" Amelia said. "Oh come on! He's totally into me!" I smiled to myself, i'm going to be okay.
