"Baby girl." I Heard someone softly calling. I groaned and turned over in my bed. "What?" "How do you feel about going to school today?" School fuck. No I cannot go to school today. No no no. "No." I said sternly. "Are you sure?" Demi asked rubbing my back. "100%" "Okay, but 5:00 is your first therapy session, remember that." "What time is it now?" "7:30" "Ughh get out of my room let me sleep." I groaned again. Demi giggled and walked out switching the light off.

I was sitting on the couch with the tv on but I had no idea what was on. All I knew was it was 4:40 and Demi said we'd leave at 4:45. Please forget, please forget, please forget "Hey baby, ready to go?" Ugh. Maybe if I play it off stupid she wont make me go. "Go where?" I asked staring at the tv as if I was paying attention. Demi picked up the remote and turned it off, causing me to look at her. "You know where come on." "Hmm nope I dont know, where are we going?" "I will pick you up and drag you out of this house Aria Jonas." "Aw mom can't you just tell me where were going?" "Okay, I didnt want to have to do this but, you leave me no choice." She said shaking her head. She dropped her purse and ran at me grabbing me and swinging me over her shoulder. "Put me down!!!" I yelled laughing and kicking. Demi just calmly grabbed her bag and walked us to the car, putting me down in the passengers seat. "Hmf." I said crossing my arms. "It'll be fine Aria don't worry, put your seat belt on." "Whatever." I rolled my eyes. "Don't be such a Debbie downer gosh it won't be that bad. You'll get to tell the therapist all about your life, you love being the center of attention." "Shut up I don't wanna go. She can't make me talk." I said staring out the window. "You'll get used to it just try it, for me." "Do I have a choice?" "Nope! Gosh being a parent is so great, I get to boss stubborn little children around all day. Hey you should try it sometime!" I stopped and slowly turned to her giving her a think-about-what-you-just-said-look and she quickly responded with " I-I mean you should wait a long long time before you try it Aria, I mean it." I smiled and Demi pulled into a parking spot.
"Want me to come in with you?" "Yes please." I said. We got out of the car and walked up to a lady at a desk. "Aria Jonas, 5:00." Demi said. The lady typed a bit on her computer before saying "Down that hallway, third door on the left. Her name is Rosa Jymlonson." The lady flashed us a smile and Demi thanked her as we walked down the hallway.
The walls were a bright but light green on the top and the bottom half was white wood. We reached the door that said "Rosa Jymlonson" and Demi walked in as I followed.
The room wasn't very big. It had a couch on one side of the room for 2 people and Rosa sat in a chair on the other side of the room. There was a desk across from the door and it had a bunch of little toys and such lining it while the middle had organized papers and pens. The walls were the same color as the hallway and were filled with different drawings and notes from kids who I assume she talked to. Rosa quickly got up when she heard us enter and came up to shake Demi's hand.
"Hello I'm Miss Rosa Jymlonson but you can call me Rosa, I assume one of you is..." She looked down at her clipboard "Aria Jonas?" Demi smiled "Yep that's her." I waved shyly and then shook her hand. "Well its very nice to meet you Aria, please take a seat, and what is your name?" "My names Demi, I'm Aria's mom."
Rosa had long curly red hair and dark red lipstick with light eyeshadow. She had on a black top and bottoms and high heels shoes. She looked like the type of people you see in offices. I sat down on the couch next to Demi and Rosa began.
"Well I usually start off the first session with getting to know the child. Nothing to personal, regular things to try to get you more comfortable with talking here. That sound okay?" I nodded. "Great lets begin. What's your full name?" "Aria Jonas, don't have a middle name." I shrugged. She wrote something down. "Okay what's your favorite color and why?" "I like black because..." I paused "Well I don't really know. It just looks good on me and I have a preference for it." I watched her write more and waited for the next boring question. "What's your favorite food?" I thought about that for a moment. I never really thought about my favorite food, I don't like food. I could always make something up. Pasta. Demi likes pasta right? Wait no she hates pasta. Chocolate? Lol no. Vegetables? Yes bingo. "I like vegetables mainly. Salads and stuff like that." She nodded and continued writing.
The session lasted about an hour and it was just me awkwardly answering basic questions that didn't really seem to have a purpose. I got back in the car with Demi and she smiled. "You did good Kiddo. See it wasn't so bad was it?" "It was awkward and weird, mom." "Well oh well deal with it brat." I fake scoffed and we drove home.
"Hey theres my favorite girls!" Nick said as we entered the house. "Please were the only girls in your life besides your mother." I said. "Which proves why your my favorites." I plopped down on the couch and turned on the TV while Nick sat next to me. "So how was it huh? Spill. Is she creepy? Is she weird? Was the session boring? Oh my gosh did she force u to eat gross little round candies from 1904?" I laughed. "They were offered to me but not taken. I don't need expired grandma candy in my system." Me and Nick both laughed as Demi came and sat on the other side of me with a bowl of popcorn. "Movie night?" I grabbed a handful of popcorn and ate it. "Sure as long as its a scary movie!" "Noooo come on guys I know you love scary things but can't we watch something doesn't give me nightmares. I'd love to be able to sleep tonight." I pretended to think about it. "Hmm nope! Have fun staying up tonight!" "And don't keep me awake with your scared crying please." Me and Demi laughed as we both took more popcorn from the bowl. "Shut up it was one time." We all laughed harder and Demi put on Carrie. "This one isn't too scary okay?" "All the movies you put on are scary Dems." "I know, this is just slightly less terrifying!"
By the end of the movie I had fallen asleep on Demi's lap and she had fallen asleep soon after. Nick woke us up to tell us the movie finished and we should probably head up to bed.
I went up the stairs slowly and into my room, instantly falling asleep the second my head hit the pillow.
