Chapter 9

[ Jordan... ]

( Alene's POV )

I woke up to Luke's loud snores, I mentally groaned. I was not ready to get up. I tried to fall back asleep but it seemed impossible with Luke snoring his life away to my right. I got up and went into the bathroom right outside of Luke's bedroom. I took a quick shower and changed into jeans and one of Luke's "Dawgs" shirts. I let my hair down from the towel to let it air dry. I needed to wake Luke up because we had to go eat breakfast. I climbed on top of him giggling at his snores. I kissed him and pulled away, he stopped snoring but his eyes stayed shut. I sighed and kissed him again but longer and more passionate. He formed a smile and opens his eyes looking at me.
" Good Morning babe. " Luke smiled at me grabbing my sides and leaning in for another kiss.
" Good Morning... " I giggled.
" What? " He asked raising an eyebrow.
" Nothing, you need to get up. We have to go eat breakfast with your family. " I said patting his chest getting up.
" No... Let's stay in bed. " He said grabbing my arm with a smirk.
" No. We can't your family is right down stairs." I said laughing. Luke frowned getting up and falling back on the bed.
" We can soon... " I said laughing an kissed his scruff. " Now go get dressed. " I quickly went down the stairs and joined Luke's family in the kitchen.
" Good morning Alene. " Mama said pulling me into a hug.
" Good morning Mama. " I said returning the hug. Everyone told me good morning and I sat down next to Lee.
" Is Luke still sleeping? " He asked laughing.
" He was, I got him up. " I sighed.
" That's Luke. " Lee laughed. I looked over and saw Luke's niece Jordan staring at me. I smiled at her and she rolled her eyes. What the hell is her problem. I looked away and Luke came jogging down the stairs with sweatpants and no shirt on. He sat down and wrapped his arm around me.
" Way to get dressed. " I whispered/giggled.
" Thanks, I tried hard. " He laughed.
" What do you kids want for Breakfast? " Mama said turning her attention to Luke and I.
" Waffles and Bacon! " Luke yelled. Everyone started cracking up.
" And you Alene? " Mama said looking at me.
" I'll just have what Luke is having. " I said giggling. Mama gave Luke and I coffee and started making our food.
I could see Jordan glaring at me from the corner of my eye. I don't know why she doesn't like me! Iv'e never done anything to her! We just met!
" So tonight I have something fun planned for us! " Luke informed me.
" Like what? " I asked.
" It's a surprise! " Luke laughed.
" You love surprises don't you. " I laughed.
" Sure do. " Luke grinned.
" But Uncle Luke you just got here! Aren't you going to stay with the family at least! " Jordan pleaded.
" Of course I am! That surprise is tonight, so I have all day. " Luke said getting up and going over to Jordan. She wrapped her arms around his neck while he hugged her. I just sat there awkwardly. I grabbed my phone and decided to find something to do on there. Luke came back and sat down next to me as I swiped through my twitter feed. Dating Luke means you inherits about 80% of his fans. The other 20% have it out for me. Mama sat down two plates towered with waffles and bacon on the table.
Luke went for a waffle but Luke's mama smacked his hand.
" Thomas. Luther. " Mama said in a stern tone. Luke hung his head. Lee was trying to hold it in but failed and busted out laughing, then Tommy. Everyone grabbed some and started eating after we said grace. Luke ate like he had been starved for months. I thought that was pretty amusing. After we ere done, we all went outside on the deck to play some games.
" Alene can you go get me a beer? " Luke asked.
" Yea sure, Lee, Tommy do you want one? " I asked while walking toward the door.
" That would be great " Tommy said.
" Yes please. " Lee smiled. I walked inside to grab four beers. I walked into the kitchen and grabbed the beers out of the fridge. I heard the door close behind me, I assumed it was Luke. " I got it Luke... " I said giggling. I turned around and came face to face with a pissed Jordan. Shit!

" Hello Jordan... " I said smiling weakly.

( Luke's POV )

Alene hasn't came back for ten minutes.

" Hey guys, I'll be right back I have to go see whats taking Alene so long. " I said getting up from my chair walking inside the kitchen. It was empty. I walked upstairs and looked in the bathroom after checking the rest of downstairs. I heard crying coming from my bedroom. I walked in and Alene was packing her suitcase.
" Alene what the hell is wrong? " I asked grabbing her hands. She almost fell back and backed against the wall.
" What are you doing? " I asked her.
I then realized why she was backing away, I was yelling. I instantly fell to my knees.
" Alene no, babe I'm not going to hit you. " I said pulling her into my arms and leaning against the wall. She sobbed into my chest. " I would never hurt you... " I whispered. After 10 minutes Alene's crying had died down.
" What happened? " I asked her.
" Jordan said... " She sniffled. " She said that..." She tried to say again. Jordan!? What the hell!!
" She said I'm just another one of the skanks you bring home and it won't last between us, she says she hates me because I broke you and Caroline up, and that I don't belong here and I need to leave. " she cried into my chest. I wanted to get up an go yell at Jordan right now but I knew I couldn't. " Luke I'm leaving. " Alene said. My heart broke. She couldn't leave. I wouldn't let her.
" Alene no you can't leave! You know she's wrong, she doesn't know about Caroline being a cheating bitch! We didn't tell her yet. She was always close to Caroline, and Alene, you are far from a skank. " I said turing her head to look at me. I now had tears.
" Alene, I love you, and you know that. After what happened with Caroline, I was heart broken, but you didn't let me stay that way. You fixed me, Alene without you I don't know where I would be, I need you... " I said. " If you're going, than I am going too. "
" Luke... I love you. " She said kissing me. I got up and helped her up.
" So you'll stay? " I asked.
" I'll stay, if you talk to Jordan. " Alene reasoned.
" I will. " I sighed. Alene walked outside and I grabbed the beers and games them out. Jordan was in the chair on the phone. She looked up and smiled at me and I glared at her and she frowned. I sat down and pulled Alene on my lap and Jordan looked back at her phone. We played a couple of more games and than Mama went to make lunch.
" Jordan let's go find something to do in the garage. " I said motioning for her to follow. She got up and followed me to the garage. After I closed the door I sighed and leaned against the door.
" Jordan... "
