NOBODY'S POV:

Ranboo knew he had a pretty good life.

He had everything a person could need to live a successful and pleasant life.

He had a beautiful home,
Cool and supportive friends,
A decent amount of money,
Food and other necessities for survival..

He was pretty happy with what he had,
In his eyes, he couldn't have asked for anything more.

But there's always that one little voice inside your head that tells you otherwise..

Ranboo knew deep down that there was something missing..
Like a brand new puzzle that was somehow missing a vital piece..

He couldn't quite figure out what it was that he was missing,
However he was destined to find it.

Like a nearby voice calling out to you..
And yet you cannot reach it.

Ranboo knew that he was getting closer to whatever it was that he needed to finally be complete..

That one missing piece...

Turns out, that missing piece may have been closer than he had estimated.

Ranboo and his good friend Tubbo were collecting some extra wood when Tubbo piped up on something intriguing,

"Oh! Oh! So you know how you told me that you think that there's something missing in your life and all?"
Tubbo said with with his droopy ears suddenly peeking up as a smile grew across his lips while he hauled a stack of lumber to a pile,

Ranboo raised an eyebrow and one of his ears perked up a tad in curiosity,
"Yeah...?? What about it..?"

"Well rumor has it that there's this enchanted field nearby.. Legend has it that if you go their at midnight and say a certain phrase, it'll show you what you truly long for to be complete."
Tubbo explained narrowing his eyes and jokingly making his voice sound cynical and mysterious as he spoke,

Ranboo shrugged and scoffed,
"Seriously, Tubbs?? And you actually believe in this stuff? Where did you even hear this?"

Tubbo tilted his head,
"..Fundy told me about it. C'mon, it's worth a shot! And even if it is a bunch of bull-crap then at least it'll be fun to go there and hang out..!"

Ranboo set down his pile of wood with the desk and he crossed his arms skeptically as he took a long look at Tubbo, who was smiling brightly.

After a moment, Ranboo finally sighed heavily in defeat,
"...Alright fine. You're lucky that your cute, because this all sounds pretty ridiculous to me. But I suppose I'll go for you.."
Ranboo teased with a soft grin as Tubbo felt his cheeks heat up and he giggled nervously.

Later that night,
Ranboo and Tubbo decided to have a sleepover to prepare for when Midnight rolled around,

The two of them would sleep until a half hour before midnight, then get ready and go to the mystical field.

Tubbo was very sleepy all throughout helping Ranboo pack for their small late trip,
He yawned softly and rubbed his eyes once he had stuffed a few apples in Ranboo's travel bag.

The half endermen's ears perked up at hearing the yawn and he smiled very softly,

"...Someone's a bit tired, hm?"
He said softly as he stopped what he was doing and walked over to Tubbo,
