Luka stretched awake the next morning, as much as she could considering she was still wrapped up in Brad's arms, but when she heard him inhale sharply, she knew she'd woken him up. She looked back at him, his eyes opening slowly, then he smiled when he focused on her.

"Morning." He grumbled, his arms tightening and pulling her closer to him. His nose nuzzled into her neck and her shoulder, and she smiled to herself as she let him for a couple of seconds.

"I have to get breakfast ready." She said, starting to move towards the edge of the bed, but he held her against him. "Brad I need to goooo!"

"Nope. They can make their own breakfast." He mumbled into her neck, his hands starting to explore over her stomach.

She slapped his hand, and he lifted his head to look at her.

"That wasn't nice." He pouted.

She just smirked at him. He rolled his eyes, giving up and letting go of her. She hopped out of bed, and he laid on his back, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes. Then he watched her heading towards the shower.

"Need some help?" He suddenly asked, making her turn round to him in the doorway.

"For what?"

"For the shower. You might slip. You need a chaperone really." He said, starting to crawl across the bed towards her. She laughed, walking back over to him as he straightened up on his knees.

"I've showered alone for 27 years, I think I'll be okay."

"Nope, it's...suddenly got very slippery." He tried to reason, and he saw her fighting a smile. He decided just to loop his arms around her waist and kiss her instead, keeping their mouths attached as he sat back down and tried to pull her back onto the bed.

She pulled away.

"Maybe next time." She teased, winning at him before disappearing into the bathroom.

He grinned at the door closing behind her, not believing that this was now his life. That she was now his life.

He stayed in the bed until she came out of the shower, his hands resting behind his head as he sat against the headboard. She came out wrapped in a towel, spotted him, and just raised an eyebrow.

"Expecting something?" She asked with her hands on his hips.

"Nope, just observing." He mused.

"Not today. Go shower, get ready, we have a big day and we need to leave in an hour."

"Exactly." He smiled, moving to get out of bed as she headed to her drawers for some clothes. He walked up behind her, sliding his hands around her waist and resting his head on her shoulder. "Half an hour for breakfast. Half an hour for a proper good morning." He smiled, kissing her neck softly.

She just chuckled and continued pulling clothes out. Then she spun in his hold and looked at him.

"I have five minutes before I need to start talking to the team about today, and about 15 minutes until I need to start making breakfast and 25 until I need to start loading the car, so, no time for a good morning today
I'm afraid." She explained, before pulling out of his arms. "Maybe tomorrow."

"Ugh that's so far away." He whined, turning to watch her pull her underwear on underneath her towel.

"Last night should keep you going." She sang before heading to her door and opening it for him. "Now go on. I'll see you downstairs."

He huffed, and walked over to her, pulling her slightly behind the door so that they couldn't be seen from the landing, and pulled her in for a kiss. It was another soft kiss, one where they were both breathing deeply, but knew it wasn't leading anywhere. They just enjoyed the feeling of each others' lips, tongues, hands. It still made Brad's head spin.
