"next week... huh?" hyunjin quietly mumbled to himself, his back currently laying on the bed as he just stared at the ceiling.

to be honest, he didn't expect the money to come around so soon. that would mean he only have a few days left here to be able to treasure every moment he spent throughout his time here, to be able to talk to felix in person.

after all, he won't be seeing him until months, or even years. depending when felix's release is, he'll have to visit him from time to time and keep up to date with him. it wasn't a lie though, that there's a small part of him that is sad about leaving.

but what can he do? it's not like he'll live in prison for the rest of his life, he needs to go back to his life way before he ended up getting arrested. even if that means not being able to see changbin 24/7 due to his loaded work.

if only he can go back to the time he didn't wanna be here, that would've been much easier than there being a part of him that wanted to stay. what would life be like if he had never met changbin before, dull?

would he and jisung be doing this all of the time? he didn't know the answer himself, but one thing he knew, and that is maybe he didn't regret getting caught and put in prison; maybe fate put him and changbin together.

to meet and eventually fall in love. that's what hyunjin wanted to believe anyways, that changbin as a police and him as a supposedly "criminal" meant something to happen. and now that he's finally together with him, what now?

how was he gonna tell the news that he may get bailed out next week? what would changbin's reaction be? no matter how hard he thought, he came to no conclusion. it was almost impossible to know, he'd have to find out.

if only talking about this would be so much easier.

"hey hyunjin," changbin immediately smiled as he walked into his prison cell, currently holding his dinner on the tray. "i brought you dinner."

"thanks hyung!" hyunjin brightly exclaimed back, his eyes filled with nothing but sparkles.

the older couldn't help but widen his smile, excitedly walking over to him. "how was your day today? i missed you a lot. sorry i couldn't be around much, i had so much work to do."

this made hyunjin smile in response, while gently shaking his head. "no, it's okay hyung. i know that you're busy and my day's been amazing! my close friend visited me today."

"oh, that friend you talked about?" changbin curiously asked, making hyunjin nod.

"yeah!" a sudden thought came to his head moments later, "oh wait, i should've introduced you to him! damn it, it was such a perfect chance as well." he pouted.

changbin let out a small chuckle, setting his tray down before walking over to cuddle with him. "don't worry about it, i was busy anyways. how about tomorrow? i don't have much work then."

almost immediately nodding in reply, hyunjin enthusiastically nodded. "perfect, he's coming to visit me tomorrow again as well."

"tomorrow it is then," changbin smiled, sitting on hyunjin's lap. "i'll just take you to the visiting room instead of chan hyung."

hyunjin nodded happily as he wrapped his arms around his torso. "i can't wait for you to meet him, he's the greatest friend you could ever ask for." he smiled widely, holding changbin closer to his chest until they touched.

"i can't wait." changbin smiled, soon feeling hyunjin's soft lips on his bare neck seconds later. "w-wait hyunjin, not here-"

"why not? nobody's here." hyunjin looked up to meet his eyes lovingly, "besides, i've been dying to touch you, it's driving me crazy."
