throughout the whole way back, hyunjin couldn't stop thinking about the conversation he just had earlier. jisung was right, what was he gonna do now? no matter how many times he tried to think, his thoughts would always go straight to changbin.

just what was the older doing to him? why did he have to make him feel this type of way? if it weren't for the deep feelings he have for the male then he wouldn't have been struggling like he is now. didn't he wanna leave at first? how did it suddenly change?

'but if i leave, i won't be able to see changbin hyung...' hyunjin thought to himself, too lost in his own world to even realise what was going on around him.

it wasn't a lie that he was slightly troubled, not knowing what to do next. the slight fear of not being able to see him again, it had bothered hyunjin quite a lot than he'd anticipated; he didn't think he would be able to go a day without seeing him.

sadly pouting at the thoughts of it, he was soon interrupted by the sounds of his door finally opening, chan's voice instantly waking him up. "we're here."

"oh right, thanks." hyunjin replied, turning to smile genuinely at him.

chan only nodded at his response, waiting until the taller had stepped inside to which he eventually locked the door behind him. as hyunjin watched him walk away, he helplessly sighed while walking over to his bed.

"what do i do now?" hyunjin muttered, looking over to the book changbin had gave him.

before he knew it, his thoughts were soon filled with nothing but concerns as they had never left him - jisung was completely lost. there was nothing more he'd wanted but to spend time with the older, endlessly chatting and laughing with him.

it was all he'd wanted, nothing else really bothered him. what should he possibly do?

that was when he heard a knock on the door, causing hyunjin to instantly whip his head towards him. walking over unknowingly, a massive smile found itself on his face almost immediately, already feeling thrilled to see him again.

"officer!" hyunjin smiled even more, watching as changbin display a small smile back.

"hey, is it alright if i come in and check your temperature?" he questioned to which hyunjin excitedly nodded his head, stepping a bit back.

he waited for changbin to unlock the door, silently watching as he stepped inside before closing it again. hyunjin didn't realise he'd been smiling for a solid 5 minutes, unable to stop smiling about it, his thoughts slowly consumed by the older.

"how are you feeling?" changbin asked, walking over to him to check his temperature.

this caused hyunjin to smile in relief, eyes glittering at the sight of being able to see him again. "i'm actually feeling all better now! thank you, changbin hyung." hyunjin answered, loving the way he'd addressed him.

changbin smiled back moments later, looking over to the thermometer soon after. "yeah, your temperature has gotten down quite a lot than before, you're back to normal."

"that's great! now i can go outside tomorrow!" hyunjin happily exclaimed, already can't wait to meet more new people. and possibly see that felix guy again.

"yeah, that's good. i'm glad you're better now, did you have a visitor by the way? i saw you leaving with officer bang so i was wondering." changbin curiously asked, wanting to know more.

hyunjin nodded with a widen smile, jisung soon appearing in his head. "he's a close friend of mine, i'm so glad to meet him again."

"oh right, how long have you know him?" changbin questioned, finding him even more curious.
