So It's been a while! I'm here to say that I think this fic needs some major re-working and that I plan to start a rewrite. I never actually storyboarded this thing which in hindsight was a big mistake. I also haven't read Tokyo Ghoul in like 4 or 5 years so I need to refresh my brain with the plot. Like i straight up didn't explain why Ayato was working with Kaneki's group until a chapter ago!
There are plot holes, my writing style has changed, and this story could use a fresh coat of paint, the old one's a bit crusty. I've also been focusing a lot more on school. I just barely passed last year and I refuse to let myself fall into that again. My plan for how I'm going to format this is going to be to add the rewritten chapter under this same story and delete the old chapter as soon as the new one is up.
My redone chapter one should hopefully be up and out by mid-February. For the most part, a lot will stay the same, most of what's changing is just things like excessive dialogue tags, typos, and random mid-story author's notes.
