After what had happened, they managed to calm Alaric down. Josie wasn't sure what was going on. With the disappearance of her memories of Lizzie, all the things concerning her were also lost. She didn't know why having felt what she felt was so troubling, but judging by how distraught everyone seemed, it had to be serious.

They decided the best they could do was to dive into the prison world that same night. If someone's life was in danger, there was no time to lose. They performed the usual ritual, the witches took one side of the ascendant and began to cast the spell, everything happened as always, the only difference was that this time Alaric was accompanying them. As he had never been in that place he looked more fearful than the others, however, despite his obvious daze he was the first to take the lead.

"Where are you going, Dad?" Josie asked in confusion.

"To find your sister"

"You don't even know where she is. We need to stop for a moment and think"

"No, what we need to do is hurry, so Kai can't hurt her"

"Dad," Josie grabbed his hand in an attempt to get him to stop and look at her, "You storming in there isn't going to solve anything"

"Your daughter is right. Besides, we told you that you had to do what we said if you wanted to join us," Freya replied with a scolding tone in her voice.

Alaric sighed deeply. Evidently this helped, for once he spoke again, some of his anger had dissipated.

"Alright, what do we do?"

"I think first of all we need to find them. Kai could have taken her anywhere," Davina commented.

"Josie and I can do a locator spell. Do you have anything that belongs to Lizzie?" -Hope stated

"Here," Alaric said as he handed Hope a tiny bracelet, "It's from when she was a baby"

Hope took it and started a beeline to the car in order to get the map they kept in the glove compartment.

"Why did you have it in your pocket?" Josie asked curiously.

"I always carry it with me. It reminds me what I'm fighting for"

Josie smiled and walked over to Hope. She took a small knife and made a narrow incision in the palm of her hand, she let the blood stain the map, and held Hope's hands to begin the spell. Siphoning Hope's magic always felt revitalizing as if she had been struck by lightning, but in a good way. Once they were done, they noticed that the blood barely moved, it had hardly traveled beyond the entrance of the institute.

"They're at the school," Hope informed the others.

"Let's go," Alaric said as he placed a knife in his belt and ran to the large gate of the building. The others followed him as fast as possible. When they arrived, they noticed that the door was open and the place was strangely quiet. This, instead of reassuring Josie, only made her feel more uneasy.

-"There doesn't seem to be anyone here," Davina emphasized.

"I don't think so, the spell clearly marked that Lizzie was here, and look," Hope pointed to a pool of blood on the floor, "there was an accident".

"Can you hear anything? I mean with your wolf senses," Josie asked her and watched as she closed her eyes and tried to concentrate.

"I hear a heavy breathing. I think it's coming from the main bedroom," Hope reported.

"Come on," Alaric motioned for them to follow him.

"You go, Davina and I will wait for you here. We will make sure that no one enters, " Freya mentioned.
