What did you say?

"oh, were you looking for this?" said the witch as she took the flower. She looked at it for a moment and then gently placed it on Josie's hair.

Hope noticed how Josie's look suddenly changed, she passed from being worried to being petrified. Hope was filled with confusion and terror herself, a lot of questions started crossing her mind, what were the Gemini witches doing there? were they there to take away the twins? why did they make their appearance at this precise moment? Just as she was contemplating all the possibilities, one of the enchanters took a step forward until she was only a few feet away from Josie. At such gesture Hope's first instinct was to go on the defensive, so she tried to get in front of Josie to prevent the witch from coming any closer, clearly, Hope had forgotten the chains that held her to the tree, for she was immediately jerked back to her original position.

"Where are you going, little wolf, I thought It was clear that you couldn't escape," the witch said with a playful look.

This only infuriated Hope even more. Abruptly, her mind traveled back to that time when she was in Alaric's office and a sudden rush of anger came over her. This helped Hope remember that it had been over two weeks since she had transformed, and the full moon was getting closer. If the witches kept getting on her nerves, her inner wolf was not going to wait any longer to come out. After thinking about all this, the only thing she could do was to throw a deathly glare at the witch.

"Easy, we're not here for you. We're here for them," said the witch pointing at Lizzie and Josie.

"What do you want from us?" Lizzie asked

"Revenge," said the witch with contempt.

"What?! Why?!" Josie said.

"Don't act confused, don't you remember your uncle Kai? He was responsible for the death of half of our coven, you know, after he stabbed himself," answered the witch, visibly furious.

"And what does that have to do with us?" Lizzie yelled.

"Well he was a siphoner just like you, your kind has always been an aberration to the coven"

"We had nothing to do with that. For God's sake, we weren't even born yet" Josie said, pretty annoyed.

"Well, we have been receiving some kind of signal from one of the prison worlds, which happens to be the one where your uncle Kai is, it seems he is trying to send a message. We think you may know why, the ones like you are always up to something," the witch replied.

"Stop referring to us in that way, we are literally part of the same coven as you," Lizzie said, growing increasingly enraged.

"You'll never be part of this coven, the only thing that binds you to us is The Merge, which judging by your age will be happening soon, at least that will take one of you off our hands" Hope could only feel her anger growing more and more, she couldn't stand someone talking about the twins like that.

"Well, now that Josie can't remember me, I think we definitely have a winner," Lizzie said, her voice barely a whisper.

"What did you say? Now, this is interesting " the witch took a step forward and took Josie's chin to further examine her face "So you don't remember your own sister, that certainly gives you an advantage in The Merge, no emotional ties are holding you back, you can unleash all of your power" Hope watched as Josie stared at the witch with eyes full of disdain.

"Well, we'll discuss that later," the witch continued, "now we need you to take a tour to the prison world and find out what your uncle Kai needs. If you don't visit him on your own, we will make sure that you eventually do it, remember that prison worlds are kinda our thing," the witch said menacingly.
