"Never look down on anybody unless you're helping him up. "  - Jesse Jackson

One Week Later

Harry's POV

"I won't do it, Louis. " I refused, shaking my head, "Why give her the satisfaction of knowing I am sorry?"

"Because Anya won't go out with me again until you do. You owe me that much. Do I need to remind you why?" He asked, referring to the time he hacked Lucy's phone for me.

"I told Anya to tell her I was sorry. That should be enough," I complained.

"She thinks you should apologize to Lucy in person, and I do too. Why don't you do it over dinner, yeah? I bet she'd like that," Louis suggested.

I scoffed. "You mean like on a date? No way. She'd kill me before the night is over."

"No, she won't. Just be your charming, witty self and you'll live. Listen, I have to go. Make sure you take her somewhere fancy mate," He told me before walking out the door.

"This conversation is not over, Lou!" I shouted back to him.

Lucy's POV

"I left my bracelet in Louis's car last week. He should be coming over later today to drop it off," Anya informed me while gathering her stuff.

"Alright, is there anything else you want to tell me before you leave?" I asked, clearly sounding annoyed.

"N-no, that's it. I'll see you after I get off from work. Bye Luce!" She said before hurrying out the door.

I furrowed my eyebrows because of her sudden departure. Why the rush? I put the chain on the door after she left and went straight into the kitchen to make a late lunch.

"What do I want to eat..." I hummed as I opened up the fridge and took out two slices of Swiss cheese.

I set the slices on top of the counter before opening the bag of bread. I removed the plastic coverings, throwing it into the trash, and placed the cheese inside the loaf of bread before putting it in the oven to cook for several minutes.

As I waited for my grilled cheese, I walked back into the living room and plopped onto the couch with New Moon by Stephenie Meyer on my lap and opened up to the first page. I got through the first book for the fourth time not too long ago and had the desire to continue the rereading series.

"Preface

I felt like I was trapped in one of those terrifying nightmares; the one where you have to run, run til your lungs burst, but you can't make your body move fast enough. My legs seemed to move slower and slower as I fought my way through the callous crowd, but the hands on the huge clock tower didn't slow. With relentless, uncaring force, they turn inexorably toward the endthe end of everything. But this was no dream, and, unlike the nightmare. I wasn't running for my life; I was racing to save something infinitely more precious. My own life meant little to me today" (New Moon).

I've read the Twilight Saga about three times and to this day, I can't wrap my head around Bella's logic. She travels all the way to Italy to save a man who left her to begin with instead of enjoying what was right in front of her. Bella goes through so much pain just so she could live forever, but life spans are definite for a reason. Humans weren't created to stay on this world forever.
