[Y/N POV]

I felt really on edge for the rest of the night. The fact that they were all still here was really getting to me!

Why did they have to be here for so long?!

Y/N: I swear I hate him more than I ever did at school.

Amanda: Yeah he seems like a right prick! I would've gone for him, but I don't really think the teachers would like it that much.

Y/N: I mean if it's self defence, then surely there is no need to take any serious action. He was being annoying and we felt threatened.

Amanda: Suppose so, but I don't really wanna find that out. They'll be gone soon anyway.

I nodded my head. It was sort of getting to that time where they would have to leave. To be honest, most of the witches were interacting quite happily with some of the warlocks.

However, of course there were the few warlocks that the witches seemed to just steer away from.

I could even hear Diana a few times telling the boys to back away and 'think about their attitude'.

She was a snob, but it was funny to hear her speak to some of those who were probably trying to hook up with her.

Y/N: No way she would be interested in anyone! She's too busy with her studies to worry about getting a boyfriend!

In the corner of the room, there was one of the warlocks who was sat alone. I recognised him as well.

Y/N: Alex?

Amanda: Huh? Who's Alex?

I pointed at him and Amanda followed my finger.

Y/N: He was my...best friend. If you could call him a best friend. The closet I had to one. The guy I got on with the most at that place.

Amanda: I see. He looks pretty lonely don't he?

Y/N: And upset.

From here I could see how down he looked. None of the others really talked to him that often. It often made me wonder why he would approach me half the time.

He being timid and me being somewhat rowdy.

Y/N: Excuse me.

I stand up and make my way over to him. On the way, he did glance up and look down again before looking back up again. A smile beginning to spread across his face.

Y/N: Hey. It's uhhh been a while...

Alex: Too long Y/N.

I sat down opposite him. It felt so awkward for a few moments as I truly didn't know what to say.

Alex: Sorry.

Y/N: Huh?

I looked up confused.

Y/N: Why are you saying sorry?

Alex: For you getting expelled. I'm sorry they kicked you out. You didn't deserve to be.

Y/N: I did nearly harm our Professor. If I did, then being kicked out would be the least of my worries.

That was a good point. I hadn't really though what would've happened if I did hurt or kill him.

But then again, I never intended to hurt him.

Just to get a point across.

Alex: True. But I'm happy to see you again. I've missed you...

Now that really shocked me.
