fifth year

Sage looked for Dean and Seamus who were sitting in a compartment, she could see them talking quietly as she slid open the compartment door which made the boys turn their heads.

"Sage!" Dean cheered and stood up, hugging her tightly. Dean had stood behind him and once Dean pulled away, Seamus hugged her.

Sage smiled happily "How was your summer?" She asked as she sat across from Dean and next to Seamus who she laid her legs across.

"Mine was great," Dean said, "Visited my grandparents in America again,"

"Manhattan?" Sage questioned.

Dean nodded "Yeah, it was fun though, got a tour of Illvermorny. Their school is pretty cool, not at great as Hogwarts though," He said as the train started moving.

"Fun," Seamus complimented. Sage and Dean turned to Seamus for his answer. "Well at first it was fine, but my mother started questioning if I should come back this year or not,"

"Why?" Sage asked.

"Because of Harry," Seamus said blankly, "The Daily Prophet has said a lot about him, including Dumbledore. It's quite obvious he lied,"

"That's absurd," Sage interrupted, "So your mother believes Cedric's death was a 'tragic accident'?"

Seamus nodded slowly "Yeah of course," he responded, "You-know-who didn't return, he's lying,"

Sage rolled her eyes but Dean sighed "Let's change the subject, any clue who our new Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor is?" Dean asked.

Sage shook her head "Hopefully someone better than we've been having, someone that will stay," Sage answered.

Seamus nodded "Hopefully," Seamus agreed.

"I'm gonna go find Draco," Sage said suddenly, She couldn't believe Seamus's opinion on what happened to Cedric. Cedric deserved justice and it seemed no one wanted that for him.

Sage slid open the compartment door again and searched for Draco, he was sitting with Blaise Zabini and Pansy Parkinson two fellow Slytherins. Sage knocked softly on the door which made the three Slytherin's look up from their conversation.

By Pansy's face, she had made a rude comment and Draco had defended Sage before opening the door. "Hey," Draco said quietly.

Sage smiled "Hello," she greeted. Draco hugged the girl and she hugged back.

"God I missed you," he mumbled, Draco was taller, he had grown an inch or two over the summer.

"I missed you too," Sage said quietly and kissed his cheek as she pulled away. Draco had to lead her out from his friends to an empty compartment so they could catch up.

Hogwarts

Sage walked to a carriage with Harry, Ron, and Hermione. Harry was staring at Cho as she rode away on a carriage. "Hey Guys," Neville said as he walked up behind them.

"Hey Neville," Harry said. Harry suddenly turned around and was looking at the carriage.

"What is it?" Sage asked.

"What's that? The thing pulling the carriage?" Harry asked.

Nothing was there. "Nothing's pulling the carriage Harry," Hermione told him. "It's pulling itself, like always,"

Harry took a few more steps, staring at the air. Suddenly a blonde girl spoke up "You're not going mad," she said, her voice was soft and gentle. She lowered her book "I can see them too. You're just as sane as I am,"
