tutoring

Sage gathered her books as Professor Vector, their Arithmancy Professor, released them. It was the last class of the day so Sage threw her bag over her shoulder and made her way to the library where she was meeting Draco.

She pushed the library doors open and glanced around, until she saw the blonde sitting at a table, tapping his foot impatiently.

Sage approached the boy, setting her bag down on the ground. "Hey," she said quietly.

"Hello," Draco said, leaning back in his chair.

Draco pulled his transfiguration homework out and set it on the table. To Sage, it was the easiest thing, but to Draco he was confused. "Okay so-" Sage started explaining the homework to Draco, and she just nodded along.

Draco sighs and pulls his homework away and starts working on it. In the meantime, Sage has time to work on her Arithmancy homework and she does so.

Before she knew it Draco was packing up "I'm done," he told her coldly. "Bye,"

Sage looked up at him and nodded "Bye," she said, wondering why he was acting coldly now. Sage sighed and put her stuff in her bag.

She made her way up to the Gryffindor common room to put her stuff away, several other Gryffindors were hanging out. Once she put her bag away, Ron Weasley stopped her "Aye Sage!" He cheered.

Sage looked over at the redhead boy "What's up?" She asked. Ron, like always was with Harry and Hermione.

"People are putting their names in tonight, at the great hall. Are you going?" Ron asked.

Sage shrugged "Sure why not," she replied. Ron smiled before turning back to his friends. Sage made her way over to Seamus who was sitting alone on a cushion. Sage takes a seat next to him.

Seamus's eyes glance up to the girl "Hey Sage," he said softly. There was a silence between the two "Can I uh- talk to you about something? Kinda private,"

Sage nodded "Of course you can," she told him.

Seamus was silent again, before taking a deep breath. "It's about me," Seamus started slowly, "I'm gay Sage,"

Sage smiled, "I already knew that," she said softly "But if you worried about me hating you  I don't. Is this your way of telling me you like Dean?" A grin grew on the girl's face.

Seamus shook his head quickly "No!" He exclaimed, "I mean no,"

Sage chuckled "Whatever you say," Sage teased, "Speaking of Dean... where is he?"

Seamus looked around and shrugged "I dunno, I haven't seen him in a while," Seamus answered. "He might already be down watching people put their names in,"

Sage nodded "Probably," she agreed. "Well I'm gonna head down there, wanna come?" She said as she stood up

Seamus nodded and stood up "Sure let's go." Seamus replied.

The two exited the Gryffindor common room and headed to the great hall where the cup was located. When they arrived there was loud chatter of students. The cup lay in the middle of the room with an age line circled around it. Seamus and Sage caught Dean talking to Neville Longbottom.

Seamus and Sage walked over to them. "Hey Dean, Neville," Sage said.

Neville smiled sheepishly "Hello," he said softly.

Sage smiled and looked at Dean, then back at Neville "How are you?" Sage asked.

Neville shrugged "I'm good," he answered.

Seamus looked at Dean "Wanna sit?" Seamus asked. Dean nodded and the two boys went to sit, Neville walked off to talk to Ginny Weasley. Sage went after Seamus and Dean.

People putting their names in. Viktor Krum walked up and put his name in, his eyes on Hermione before he stepped back.

Sage walked Cedric Diggory's friends push him up. Cedric dropped his name in as well, his face blanking as he stepped back his friends patting his back.

All of a sudden loud cheering could be heard from the Weasley Twins. People started clapping and cheering.

"Bottoms up," George said and the two gulped a potion.

"It's not gonna work," Hermione pointed out.

George and Fred popped up next to her "And why's that?" Fred asked.

"See that," Hermione said, pointing at the glowing line on the ground "That's an age line, Dumbledore drew it himself,"

"So?" George questioned.

"So," Hermione explained, laughing "Someone as brilliant as Dumbledore couldn't possibly be dimwitted by something like an aging potion,"

"That's why it's so brilliant," Fred started.

"Because it's so pathetically dimwitted," George finished.

The twins jumped over the aging line and people cheered "I have a bad feeling about this," Sage whispered to the boys.

"Whatever it is, it'll be entertaining," Dean said.

Fred and George plopped their names into the goblet of fire and cheered again. Sage watched intently. The goblet grew in flames as the two papers flew out. George and Fred flew across the room. Everyone was now laughing, while Sage just smiled. The twins had turned to old men and they were arguing. Until they left the great hall.

Sage sighed and leaned back into her seat. Seamus and Dean chatted quietly and everyone kept watching and cheering on more people who put their names in.

Before anyone knew it, it was time to walk back to the common rooms. After a long day, it was relieving that Sage could get some rest.
