Secret Soulmates

XXVII

"Kacchan! Put me down!" Katsuki had thrown Izuku over his shoulder. "No! You are not to use knives!" Izuku started to punch his back, "Why!?" "Because you almost cut your finger just now! Let Sho and Eij cut up the apples!" Izuku started to kick now too, "No! My mom is coming let me do the snacks!"

"No!" Shoto and Eijiro yelled back in unison. Katsuki put Izuku down but held down on his wrists. Izuku looked down, very angry. "Give me a kiss." Katsuki was teasing, so he stuck out his lips as far as he could and started to lean down to Izuku.

Izuku flicked his head away, "no! Go away!"

"Izuku Midoriya!" He stiffened, "that's no way to talk to your boyfriend!" Katsuki blushed and let go of the boy, throwing his hands up as he did so. "M-mom!" Inko kissed Izuku on the forehead and hugged Katsuki. "Oh I'm so happy! I was wondering when you two were going to get together!"

Then two things seemed to dawn on her, the fact that Eijiro and Shoto were in the room and, "Wait does that mean you two are soulmates!?" Izuku rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly while Katsuki exchanged a glance with him, "yep... we are romantic soulmates..."

She clapped and smiled, "I have to tell Mitsuki!" Katsuki half yelled, "no! I dont want her to know yet. She'll be extra annoying if you tell her Aunt Inko."

"M-mom look here," Izuku had walked over to Shoto and Eijiro, hoping to change the subject, "This is Eijiro Kirishima," the boy grinned his signature grin and waved, "nice to meet you ma'am." "And this is Shoto Todoroki," Shoto gave her a small smile and nodded, "hello ma'am."

"Oh please! Dont be so formal, call me Aunty. It's nice to meet you boys, I'm guessing you are all friends?"

No one said anything, they all made eye contact before Shoto nodded. She seemed confused but didnt say anything, she just grabbed Izuku's hand and brought him to the couch.

She set a bag she had in between them and took out a thermometer. "Here, open up." Izuku blushed and opened his mouth, she then put her hand on his forehead and waited for the thermometer to go off. Once it did she took it and read the temperature out loud, loud enough for everyone to hear, "98.4, you don't look pale and you seem fine. Why did you throw up?"

Izuku shrugged, "maybe I had drainage, I mean we were in a foreign place and I've always had horrible allergies." Inko nodded before kissing his forehead.

Shoto came in with a plater of sliced apples, crackers, sliced cheese, and some peanut butter. "Here you go! We all helped put it together." Eijiro and Katsuki came in and sat side by side on the couch across from them, a coffee table was between them with the snacks.

"Oh thank you boys! You shouldnt have, how sweet this is! Izuku you have the best people around you." Izuku nodded happily. "Now Katsuki, you look so handsome! I havent seen you since you were this high!" She held up her hand about 3 feet off the ground, smiling as she did so.

Katsuki became a little awkward, he was forgiven by his lover but he still felt guilty about why she hadn't seen him for so long.

"We kind of had a falling out when we were in middle school mom, but its obvious now that we cant be away from each other." Izuku smiled at Katsuki causing him to relax and blush.

"Oh I understand, what about your friends Izuku, tell me about them." Izuku laughed a little, "do you guys want to tell my mom about yourselves?"

(I tried to look this up but it didnt really help much so bare with me on my bullshit whatever this is.)

Eijiro straightened up and smiled, "My parents run a ramen shop in town, I have a little sister, my favorite hero is Crimson Riot, my quirk is hardening, and...," he thought for a moment, "I love cats!"

Inko smiled and clapped lightly, "where is your parents shop?" He grabbed an apple slice, "its next to the library on the north side of town!" Then he ate his apple, signaling for Shoto to introduce himself more.

"Well my parents and I arent on the best terms, but I'm trying to work it out. I had two brothers, one passed when he was younger, and I have a sister. My dad is Endeavor, my quirk is half fire half ice, um, I'm also a cat person." He half asked the last part, not really knowing what to say to finish his explanation.

In response Inko patted the boys knee and smiled sympathetically, but not for long as she understood that the mood would fall. "So hows school going for you boys?" "Its great! I love working with everyone and the heroes!" Izuku was practicing jumping up and down in his seat and it took everything in Eijiro and Shoto not to blush.

"I know Honey, I know you love it here, I was asking your friends and boyfriend." She patted his hand before looking towards the trio. "I am enjoying the experience," Shoto said before looking at Eijiro, "Yes! It is very manly and fun!" Then Katsuki leaned back on the couch and shrugged lightly, "Its better than being with the Old Hag all the time!"

Inko looked at Katsuki with that stern mom look, "Not Katsuki dont talk about your mother that way! She would be very upset if she heard you speaking that way!" Katsuki looked down, "I'm sorry Aunty."

Inko nodded before they started to eat more and talk about random stuff that was going on in their lives.

After a few hours Inko gave Izuku money for dinner, he refused of course but she insisted, she told him to take everyone out to dinner. With a kiss goodbye and a very long hug she hugged the other three before saying goodbye.

After she was gone Izuku sighed, "I'm sorry Eij, Sho, it isnt fair that she only knows about Katsuki." Eijiro and Shoto shook their heads, "we cant forget that we could get taken if to many people find out about this."

Izuku knew Shoto was right, but what he was implying hurt him deeply. "Are you saying my mom would turn us in!?" He knew he shouldnt be angry, but he couldnt help it.

"Wha-?" "How could you imply something like that, mom would never tell!" Izuku slammed the money on the table before running up to his room with tears in his eyes. He didn't really have anywhere else to go, even though he wanted to be far away.

Eijiro was the first to make it to the room. "H-hey, Sho didnt mean it that way." Izuku turned away from him and started to cuddle into the bed more. "Please leave me alone Eij, tell the other not to bother me."

Not knowing what to do Eijiro hesitated then left, only to hear Katsuki growing angrier as he stepped into the livingroom.

"I'm trying really hard not to yell right not babe, but you need to apologize! What you said was over the top! Especially since you had just meant Aunt!"
