Secret Soulmates

IV

I know the start of the story is a little slow and to be honest I dont know how much I like the story so far but I have big ideas for it in the future parts so I hope it gets easier to read.

Also a way to show me your enjoying the story is to vote, I know that's annoying of me to ask but I forget to do that when I read fanfic. Plus I dont want to write something people dont enjoy reading.

Same day, after dinner in Midoriya's dorm.

It's only 6, but I have nothing to do... I guess I could take a nap...? Yeah I'll take a nap.

Midoriya turned off his lights and crawled into bed, almost instantly he was asleep.

Midoriya opened his eyes, only to see the dark colored ceiling. He turned to his side and picked up his phone. Turning it on the light burned his eyes as read the time and notifications.

It was 1 in the morning and he had a text notification. Sitting up he opened his phone.

Kacchan: Are you awake Nerd?

Kacchan: I'm coming to your dorm.

Midoriya: Okay?

Midoriya put his phone down, he didn't see when Bakugou sent the texts so he didn't really think much about the fact that Bakugou was coming to his dorm in the middle of the night.

After Midoriya fully woke up, he realized he didnt take a shower.

He got out of bed and started to strip, once in his underwear he got a wet cloth and started to freshen up.

When Midoriya was bent over, washing off his lower legs his door opened.

The flood lights from the hallway lit up his entrance way, Bakugou stood there shocked. Midoriya was in his boxers, not only that but he was bent over, ass facing Bakugou.

"Nerd." Midoriya jumped straight up and turned around, surprised to see Bakugou standing there. "Y-yes." Midoriya gulped, "What are you doing?" Bakugou walked in and closed the door, locking it.

Midoriya looked down, remembering he was only in his boxers he scrambled to get a night shirt on. "S-sorry Kacchan, I fell asleep early and never woke up to shower so I was freshening up."

Bakugou walked in and sat on his bed, Midoriya got a better look at Bakugou, his shirt was wrinkled, he was in boxers, his hair was messier than normal and he had huge bags under his tired looking eyes.

"What's wrong Kacchan?" Midoriya walked up next to him and sat down, Bakugou took a while to respond, seeming to be fighting with himself.

He finally opened up, "Remember when we were kids and when I had really bad nightmares you would sing me to sleep and then you would sleep next to me?"

Midoriya flushed, remembering the many nights he cuddles with Bakugou. "Yes, of course I remember." Bakugou just turned and looked at Midoriya, who was staring at him worried.

After a few seconds Bakugou grunted, crossing his arms tightly. "I had a really bad nightmare, and I need to sleep so can you do that for me?"

Midoriya was shocked, contemplating whether to do this for Bakugou or not. He sighed, of course he was going to help Bakugou, for what ever reason he had a hard time saying no to Bakugou. Sure Uraraka often teased him about having a crush on him but that simply wasn't true... or was it?

"Okay Kacchan, get comfortable. I'm not going to sing, but I guess we can cuddle."

Bakugou turned his head away, his ears were pink though. Midoriya giggled, "What!?" Bakugou snapped, "N-nothing Kacchan. Let's just sleep." Midoriya got under the covers and faced Bakugou, opening his arms for him.

Bakugou quickly complied, snuggling close to Midoriya's chest, "Fuck, I guess Thanks Nerd." Midoriya smiled, "No need to thank me Kacchan, it's what I'm here for." Bakugou shifted, wrapping his arms around Midoriya's back.

"Goodnight Kacchan." Bakugou squeezed Midoriya, "Goodnight Nerd."

Both boys fell asleep shortly after, Midoriya had his arms wrapped around Bakugou's head, Bakugou's around his back. Their legs were intertwined, pressed up against each other. They both ended up having small smiles on their faces as they drifted off into a deep sleep.

"-d, Nerd, Nerd." Bakugou was sitting up, shaking Midoriya gently awake. "Hmm Kacchan stop, let's go back to sleep." Midoriya kept his eyes shut as he opened his arms for Bakugou.

Bakugou didn't move, he just thought Midoriya was cute before coming back to reality. "Deku get up, we have to get ready for class."

Midoriya didn't move, Bakugou sighed before getting off the bed. Midoriya was fully awake in a split second and he felt Bakugou wrap his arms around him picking him up out of bed.

"Put me down Kacchan! I'm awake!" Bakugou didn't listen, he had one hand under Midoriya's back and the other under his thighs as he started to spin.

"Are you up now Nerd?" Bakugou asked rather loud, "Yes Kacchan I'm awake now!" Midoriya laughed, wrapping his arms around Bakugou's neck tighter.

Their faces were inches away from each other, laughing and smiling at each other.

Bakugou noticed their closeness, he blushed and put Midoriya down. Growing angry he gave Midoriya a soft smile before slamming the door shut behind him.

Leaving Midoriya confused and a little startled, he huffed. Same old Kacchan.

Midoriya smiled to himself as he got ready to go.

Once in the common room, he quickly got breakfast before running off to class. He wanted to be early so he could get the notes he missed from Iida.

Now running to class he felt a sharp pain in his right shoulder before falling back, only to be caught. He opened his eyes and looked up to be met with an ice blue eye and a sliver gray eye.

"Ah sorry Todoroki!" Todoroki helped Midoriya up, still holding his hands he responded, "No worries, but why are you running? Class hasn't started yet."

Midoriya looked down at their hands, Todoroki had painted black fingernails. Damn. What a hotty. Midoriya blushed, "I was going to get the notes from Iida before class."

Todoroki blinked before letting go of one of Midoriya's hands, fishing in his back pack he pulled out his notebook.

He handed it to Midoriya, "You can copy mine, I got them from Iida last night." Midoriya's face lit up, "Thank you Todoroki!"

When Midoriya said that, Bakugou happened to walk past seeing the boys holding hands.

Jealousy and angry laced Bakugou's face as he glared at the two, walking past.

"Hey Kacchan!" Midoriya called only to be ignored, he looked at Todoroki then back at Bakugou, pulling on Todoroki's hand to follow, he let's go and runs after Bakugou.

Once Midoriya catches up to Bakugou he automatically puts his hand on Bakugou's shoulder, causing the boys to stop, only to rip it away again and hold his arm awkwardly as Bakugou looks at him.

"Tsk. What do you want Nerd?" Bakugou turns and starts to walk again. Midoriya, now red from embarrassment, "Why didnt you say hi back?" Bakugou started to make little sparks with his hand, "Why should I!?" Midoriya stopped walking and looked down, "Oh."

At this point Todoroki was caught up to them, watching the interaction. Midoriya and Bakugou both were thinking about this morning, Midoriya confused and Bakugou regretful of the way he just treated Midoriya. Regardless Bakugou walked away without saying anything.
