Secret Soulmates

October 12th

"Uraraka, Kirishima, Todoroki, and Midoriya stay after class, I want to talk to you."

Midoriya watched as his classmates got up and left for lunch.

After everyone was gone Aizawa Sensei sighed, "Why were the four of you not here yesterday?"

Uraraka pointed at Midoriya, "Deku burnt his hand and we helped him take care of it. By the time we were done we were already late for class."

"Why didnt you just come in late?"

"We didn't want to disturb the class, and we will finished the missing work and do the missing notes soon." Todoroki chimed in, trying to help Uraraka.

"Okay, but why didn't you take Midoriya to Recovery Girl?"

"I didn't want to be a bother Aizawa Sensei, plus my hand is almost better anyways."

Aizawa Sensei narrowed his eyes, "Why didnt you come to class? You could still walk."

This time Kirishima spoke, "he hurt his writing hand."

Aizawa thought for a second before backing down, "Alright, get the notes from Iida and get the work done by tomorrow and your off the hook. Go to lunch."

They all stood up and bowed before leaving for lunch.

"I feel bad for lieing," Midoriya whispered as they walked down the hall together. "Don't feel bad Deku, you did get burned after all." Uraraka patted his shoulder playfully.

Texting:
Midoriya and Uraraka

Uraraka: Hey Deku, I need to talk to you about something.

Midoriya: Hello! Sure, is everything okay?

Uraraka: Can you come to my dorm now please?

Midoriya: On my way!

It was now about 5 o'clock the same day.

Midoriya put his phone away and started to lightly jog to Uraraka's room. He was in the common room, he had just finished dinner.

Uraraka instantly opened the door when Midoriya was about to knock, pulling him inside he was a little startled.

"Oh? Hi Mina." Mina was sitting on her bed. I didn't know they were friends, that's cool!

Uraraka pulled up a chair for Midoriya, then she sat next to Mina. They looked at each other before looking at Midoriya with hesitant eyes.

"I-Is everything okay? You guys are worrying me." Uraraka took a deep breath before showing her arm, she already had her soulmate mark, two marks showed on her wrist.

(Romantic soulmate is two marks)

Mina did the same, then Uraraka wrote a smiley face on her arm with a pen that she had on her bed, and the face showed up on Mina's arm.

After a few seconds Midoriya spoke, "Y-you guys, we arent suppost to talk about this stuff. Congratulations! But eh- what's the problem?"

Uraraka shifted, "I'm 15 Deku, I'm not suppost to have this yet. The timing is weird too. Mina's birthday was in July, why did we get it now? What is going to happen to us?"

Uraraka's birthday: December 27th Mina's birthday: July 30th

"We didn't know who else to trust with this besides you Deku." Mina said in a serious voice, this side of Mina scared Midoriya, she never sounded so scared or serious.

Midoriya took a deep breath, "Okay don't panic, maybe we should tell Kac-" "We are not telling Bakugou, aka your crush!" Uraraka crossed her arms.

Midoriya jumped up, "He is not my crush!" He was blushing, he didn't know it though. Mina giggled and Uraraka rolled her eyes, "Seriously though, what are we going to do? Has this ever happened before?"

Mina squeezed Uraraka's hand to calm her down, and it worked. It warmed Midoriya's heart to see them like that, "Let's look it up?" Midoriya said more like a question, not knowing what to do either.

"No! They will see that we looked it up," Mina protested. "Why is it such a big deal? I'm going to look it up." Midoriya pulled out his phone, "Deku dont, you dont know what will happen," Uraraka put her hand over his phone screen, pushing his phone down to his lap.

"Have you not heard of the stories of people who have talked about soulmates before?" Uraraka asked, clearly not wanting to talk about it.

"No..." Midoriya looked at her worried, "What happened?" Uraraka closed her eyes and took a deep breath, "you should have been told this as a kid but they disappear."

Midoriya breathed out, "So? Dont they come back?" Both girls shook their heads 'no'. "W-what?" Midoriya clenched his fists.

"Not only that, people with weird marks do too, that's why we are so scared and we don't know what to do. We dont want to disappear Deku," Uraraka started to tear up.

Mina hugged her and Midoriya put his hand on her leg, "You aren't going to disappear. We will just have to hide yours until December 27th."

"How? Make up cant cover these, and if I have bandages on my wrist everyone will know and I'll be taken away."

"Okay let's think for a second. We can do this Uraraka dont worry. Also I promise not to tell anyone."

Midoriya thought for a second while looking around the room, hoping for inspiration, when it came to him. "Wait. How do you know make up doesnt cover it up?"

Uraraka fell back on her bed, "That was told to me when I was little."

"Okay but you didnt try it?" Midoriya asked, a little annoyed, sure he loved helping his friends but sometimes Uraraka doesnt think.

"No... I haven't..." Uraraka fiddled with her fingers, hearing how stupid she sounded. Midoriya didn't say anything, he just got her make up bag and handed it to her.

"Try, the person that told you that probably just didn't want you to get in trouble for trying it." Uraraka nodded and applied the make up, it wasnt fully covered but it was hidden to a degree.

"Well, that's probably the best we can do." Mina said before touching the mark on Uraraka's wrist.

Uraraka sighed, "I'm scared guys, I have three months until my birthday still."

Midoriya got up and put his arm around her, "Dont worry Uraraka, Mina and I have you covered. You don't need to worry to much about this."

Uraraka took a deep breath, "Okay, thank you Midoriya." Midoriya nodded and got up to leave.

"Hey Midobro!" Kirishima jogged up to Midoriya as he shut Uraraka's door. "Hi Kirishima. How are you?" Kirishima blushed a little bit, right under him eyes. "I'm doing great now, how are you?"

"I'm good, thanks for asking." Midoriya smiled up and Kirishima as they started to walk back to the common room together. "What were you doing with Uraraka, if you dont mind me asking."

Midoriya looked at the ground, he didnt want to lie to Kirishima but he couldnt tell Uraraka's secret, "Well, we just went over today lesson in a little more detail."

Kirishima nodded, "How about you Kirishima, what were you doing on that side of the dorms?" Kirishima rubbed him mouth with his hand, "I was going to see Mina, but she wasnt home. Then I ran into you on the way back."

Midoriya nodded, walking into the kitchen he got a two waters and gave one to Kirishima before they walked to the couchs, they sat in a comfortable silence together until Iida announced that he was making dinner for everyone.
