loving but not knowing what love is

Satan had finished his sentence so quickly that Akira thought he wanted to say something else but he didn't. Akira slowly straightened up and turned to Satan. He looked down at him and Satan looked up.

"I don't understand you Ryo. I don't understand why you did that, why you brought me back to life. I have no explanation on it. But why you don't want to fight me I understand even less."

Akira said calmly and held out his hand.

"You said yourself that if I made you my enemy, you'd kill me."

He continued to speak when Satan took his hand and then stood up.

"Am I your enemy, Akira?"

Asked Satan. But Akira doesn't really seem to have an answer, so he turned to face. Which wasn't too surprising, after all, they now had a lot more space to run away from each other than on earth.

"It's pointless to run away again now."

Said Satan to Akira. He was right too. Satan would only seek and find Akira again. In the end, they will end up in a situation like this again. Akira also became aware of this because he stood still and didn't move any more. Most likely he would continue to stand there, but Satan hugged him from behind. It was the first time Satan hugged Akira since he was revived. Akira wanted to push him away again when he felt tears on his back.

"Are you crying?"

Akira asked and began to cry himself.

"Yes. I cry, and then ... then I cried too. You were right. You always understood me better than I understood myself. "

Satan answered.

"And I know that you could help me with these feelings too."

Satan kept talking. Akira, however, tore himself out of the grip of Satan when he had finished speaking and looked at him with his crying face. At first he didn't say anything either, he just looked at him. Satan, on the other hand, was both confusing and slightly disappointed, he didn't really want to let go of Akira. He would like to keep hugging Akira's living and warm body forever.

"Good, I'll help you! But answer me a question. Why did you bring me back to life? That can't be the only reason, can it?"

Akira cried even more than he said that. Satan's answer was not long in coming either.

"Everything, for me you are everything! If not more! I love you Akira!"

Satan said it so confidently, although he never said anything like that and although he actually didn't know love.

"For real? Are you sure, do you even know what love is?"

Akira asked him. Namely, he knew that Ryo had never really shown any feelings. He was surprised, it was unexpected for him to hear that, and he had no other answer to it either.

"That's what best describes my feelings. And no. To be honest, I have no idea what love is."

Satan answered softly.
