you're Satan

He really didn't know what love is. But is it really normal that Satan personally had any feelings at all? A practically callous person who didn't even have a place in heaven. How did it come about that he could suddenly develop such a strong bond with Akira. Akira the person who cried for everyone and shed a tear for everything.

Akira glanced at the floor. He looked at the marks that his tears left on the floor. Soon more are dripping onto the floor, both his and Satan's. Akira wanted Satan to have lied to him. Because he actually knew exactly how Ryo really was. So he didn't want that he really meant that.

Yes exactly, he knew what Ryo was like. He knew Ryo from childhood, he knew him so well. But that wasn't Ryo, was it?

"Satan, who are you?"

Akira looked him again. For Satan it seemed like a difficult question, but he answered it anyway with a certainty in his voice.

"I am Satan."

But once he said that, he didn't look so sure anymore.

"Well, yes. You are Satan. Yes you are right."

Akira continued.

"I assumed I knew you all along, but... I don't even know you yet, I just know who you are. "

"How do you not know me?"

Satan interrupted him. But Akira continued immediately after his question.

"I knew Ryo very well. We've been good friends since we were little. Ryo Asuka was who I always imagined, but you are not Ryo. You are Satan."

Satan looked at him. You could see that he was crying too, but at this point he didn't cry anymore. Instead he stared at Akira. He looked at him and could only partially understand what he was saying.

He was Ryo after all. Yes of course he was Ryo, but that's all. It was him, but back then. Now he's Satan again. But was't he as Ryo, also Satan, just in another body? Or was he really a different person?

"Th. What are you talking about, you know me."

He laughed at the beginning and tried to convince both Akira and himself that he was still the same.

Akira questioned everything, although there wasn't that much left to question. Maybe he has not yet been able to process it completely that he is alive again, or he was not able to understand what Satan has done.

"Satan, you are Satan! The fallen angel."

Said Akira.

"You said that, didn't you?"

He went on.

"Yes?"

This time the answer was very uncertain, and it sounded more like a question rather than an answer.

Akira stood sideways to Satan and looked up. He sighed once and then spoke.

"Are you unsure, Satan? How does this happen?"

Only now does Satan realize that Akira is no longer addressing him with Ryo. It felt strange to him. He didn't say anything either. He just kept silent and looked at Akira. He saw how he looked, so innocent, so nice and kind. Akira actually looked so different. He had changed, or rather, he changed because of Ryo.
