Defeating Malivore (Holarke)

Hope's POV
    It's been two months, since the party, and everything is okay. Ryan, and I are happy, and barely spend any time alone together, since Mom, and Dad left us in charge. Mom, and Dad are in Mystic Falls, trying to find a way to defeat Malivore for good, with Jo, and Alaric. We are having trouble getting the factions in line, and they are having problems with Ryan being a mud man, and me being The Tribrid.

    Anyway, I woke up, and Ryan is looking at me. I said, " Stop watching me sleep."

  He said, " I'm not. I'm thinking."

  I played with the hair on the back of his head, and said, " What are you thinking about?"

  He said, " How I went from trying to destroy you, to being in love with you."

  I said, " It's sort of like how my Aunt Davina, and Uncle Kol met. She tried to kill him, but ended up falling for him."

  He said, " Are you comparing our relationship to your Uncle, and Aunts relationship?"

  I said, " A little."

  He leaned in, and was about to kiss my lips, when someone knocked on our bedroom door. We sighed, and he collapsed onto his pillow.

  He said, "Maybe if we pretend to sleep, they will go away."

  Someone said, " You do realize I can hear you, right? Downstairs, now! We have a situation."

  Aunt Davina. I said, " We will be down."

  I heard Davina walk away, and he said, " Is she gone?"

  I said, " Yes, but not for long. We should get up."

He said, " We never get any alone time together."

I said, " I don't understand how Mom, and Dad still had time for alone time, when they are running a city."

  He said, " We shall never know."

  I kissed his cheek, and we got out of bed. I went to the closet, and put on my jeans, my red tank top, and my black boots.

  I walked out of the closet, and seen Ryan dressed, and he walked over to me. He said, " Let's go see what's wrong now."

  I nodded, and we walked out of the room, and downstairs. I seen the Second in command wolf, Oliver in the courtyard, with Aunt Davina. I said, " I can deal with this, Davina."

  She said, " Are you sure? You know, we can help."

Ryan said, " We got this, Davina."

Davina nodded, and sped out of the house. Ryan said, " I'll be right back."

  He walked towards the kitchen, and I said, " Please, sit."

  Oliver sat down, and I sat down on the couch. I said, " So, what else is the problem?"

  He said, " The wolves. They are pushing to get you to step down as Alpha."

  I said, " I'm not even with the wolves in the bayou. I'm know you all seen me as one, cause of my mother, but I've never wanted to be in charge of the wolves. Yous pushed for me to be the alpha, when I returned the memories of you all."

  He said, " I know, but they think that since your The Tribrid, you aren't worthy of the title."

  I said, " I'm not stepping down. I've grown to like being in charge of the wolves, and if they want to be alpha, they know where I am. There's only one way to become an alpha. A challenge. Go ahead and tell them that."

  He said, " Okay."

  He stood up, and left the compound. Ryan came into the courtyard with a blood bag, and handed it to me. I said, " Thank you."

  I opened it, and drank it.

  When I finished it, I threw away the bag, and I said, " The wolves want me to step down as alpha, which isn't happening."

  He said, " I'm sure they will accept you as you are. You were a tribrid before all of this anyway."

  I said, " Yeah, but things are different. Now, that I activated my vampire side."

  He said, " I know, if the factions come together, then we can find a solution."

  I nodded, and said, " We have to go see the Vampires, come."

  We stood up, and walked outside of the compound.
