Hope's POV
    We landed after a three hour flight. We got off the jet, and got in the car that's waiting for us. I'm driving, so I started driving to Mystic Falls.

On the way, Uncle Kol said, " Why are we in Mystic Falls?"

I said, " I need to talk to Alaric."

Rebekah said, " Does he know we are coming here?"

I said, " Yeah, I texted him on the jet. He's at the school. All of yous can stay at the mansion, till I am done talking with him."

Davina said, " Okay. What are you going to talk about?"

I said, " You'll find out, after I'm done."

We arrived at the school, and I got out of the car. Kol took my seat in the drivers side, and drove down the long driveway. I sighed, and walked inside the school.

  I seen students looking at me, and I bumped into someone on the way to Alaric's office. I said, " Oh, I'm so sorry."

  I looked, and it's Landon. He said, " Whatever."

  He went to walk off, but I grabbed his arm. He looked at me, and said, " What?"

  I said, " Can we talk? Just you and me."

  He said, " Why should I even bother?"

  I said, " I want to talk to you. There's something I want to tell you. Look, meet me at the docks in twenty."

  He said, " I'm not going to show up."

  I said, " If you don't, then I will leave you alone."

  He nodded, and walked away. I sighed, and walked inside Alaric's office. He is sitting at his desk on the phone. He soon needed the call, and said, " Hope. So what is so urgent?"

I said, " Did you hear anything about Triad in the last decade?"

He said, " Not that I know of. I thought they were done with, after we retaliated against them. Why do you ask?"

I said, " Umm."

He stood up, and said, " Hope, what's going on?"

I said, " Triad took Ryan."

He said, " How do you know?"

I pulled the note out of my pocket, and showed it to him. He said, " That's the triad symbol."

I said, " I know. They left this where Ryan was last seen. I thought that maybe it was a joke, but I did a spell on the paper, and seen people in masks knocking Ryan out, and then left the paper."

He said, " Don't even think about it."

I said, " About what?"

He said, " Don't become like your father, when he's looking for those he loves. Don't do whatever it takes to get him back. It's not worth it."

I said, " Seriously? How is it not worth it? Ryan is the love of my life, and I have tried over a decade to get him back. Once I did, someone TOOK Him."

He said, " I'm trying to protect you, Hope."

I said, " You don't get to protect me, or say what I can and can't do. Cause guess what. I am my father's daughter, and I'm cool with that."

I showed my Tribrid face, and then sped out of the school. I sped to the docks, and sits on the ledge, and let my legs hang down. I sighed, and said, " I wish I knew where you were."

I looked up at the sky, and then I heard footsteps. I said, " I didn't think you would show."

He sat down next to me, and said, " MG and Kaleb heard you tell me to meet you here to talk to you. They convinced me to hear you out."

I said, " I didn't know you were friends with Kaleb, and MG."

He said, " A lot has changed."

I said, " I noticed that. None of us are the same people we once were."

He said, " What did you want to talk about?"

I said, " I'm sorry on how you found out about me, and Ryan. I do want to explain."

He said, " I thought you hated Clarke. You always despised him like the rest of us."

I said, " I don't know. I know that firsthand, that you can always love your enemies. Heck. It happened with my mom, and dad. Ryan just snuck up on me, when we were in Malivore, I finally realized that I felt something for him."

  He said, " I have to know. Did you love him, when we were together?"

  I looked at Landon, and said, " No. Of course not. I never once thought of another when we were together. I mean, I knew Ryan was in love with me, but i never loved him, when we were together. I developed feelings for him, after we broke up."

  He said, " I don't understand how you could love him."

  I said, " It's a Mikaelson thing. We see the good and bad in others. We always seem to love those that tried to murder us. My Aunts did it with their husbands, and my mom, and Dad fell in love. They all were enemies with each other."

He said, " You know, you never even mentioned your birth mother when we were together."

  I said, " I don't like to talk about her. Each time, I do, I end up crying."

He said, " But, you told Ryan about her?"

  I said, " Yeah, I did. I tell him everything. I love him, Landon."

He said, " I should tell you something."

  I said, " What is it?"

  He said, " Its about Clarke, and Triad."

  I said, " What about it?"

  He said, " I told Triad that Clarke is alive, cause I caught word that they wanted him dead."

  I stood up, and said, " Why would you do that?!"

  He said, " I thought if he was gone, you would come back to me."

  I said, " Seriously?! We are OVER, LANDON. UGH."

  He said, " Look, I'm sorry. I just got so pissed and wanted you back."

  I said, " No! You don't get to play the Marauder. Ad Sonnum."

  Landon then passed out, and I called Alaric. The phone rang, and then he answered.

  He said, " Hope. What is it?"

  I said, " Landon is on the docks. Lock him up on one of the cells."

  He said, " Why?"

  I said, " Because he turned Ryan over to Triad."

  He said, " What?"

  I said, " Do it. I'm leaving town, and I will do whatever it takes to get him back."

  I hung up, and sped to the mansion.
