Defeating Malivore

Hope's POV
It's been two weeks, and everything is good. Ryan, my Uncles, and Aunts are in New Orleans. It's Mom, Dad and I here in Mystic Falls. Tomorrow is Christmas Eve.

I woke up, and put on my jeans, my blue off the shoulder sweater, and my black boots.

My phone rang, and I picked it up. It's Ryan, FaceTiming me.

I answered and said, " Hey."

He said, " Morning."

I seen he didn't have a shirt on, and said, " Are you still in bed?"

He said, " Maybe. I miss you."

I said, " It's only been two weeks."

He said, " I miss having you in my arms at night. Don't tell me you didn't miss me?"

I said, " I'm starting to regret missing you, and your big ego."

He said, " I do not have a big ego!"

I said, " Yeah. You do."

He laughed, and said, " Alright. I love you."

I said, " I love you, Ryan. Call you later tonight."

He nodded, and I hung up. I put my phone in my pocket and sped downstairs to the kitchen.

I grabbed a blood bag out of the fridge, and drank it.

I heard someone knock on the door. I sped to the front door, and opened it.

No one is there. I seen a package on the porch, and picked it up. It says, Caroline Mikaelson.

I said, " Mom!"

Mom and Dad appeared in the foyer and I handed Mom the package. She opened it, and said, " This is it."

I said, " What is?"

She pulled the object out of the box, and it's a plastic heart. I said, " What's this for?"

Dad said, " So, instead of having you jump into Malivore. We put your blood in here. And it will act as a conduit for your heart. The twins will be over to help with the spell."

I said, " When did you think to tell me this?"

Mom said, " The night Hayley died, again. But, since then we didn't want to upset you. We know you were going through a tough time."

I said, " Yeah. But I can handle it."

Dad said, " We are just trying to protect you."

I nodded, and the door opened, and the twins walked inside, with winter coats, and hats on.

Lizzie said, " It's freaking cold out."

I said, " It is winter. I'm surprised it didn't snow."

Josie said, " I'm hoping we get a white Christmas."

I said, " Yeah."

Lizzie said, " So, Caroline what did you get the conduit heart."

Mom said, " I sure did. Everything is set up in the living room."

We went to the living room, and I seen a nurse there with an IV. Dad said, " Hope, sit. We are going to need some of your blood put into the heart. Then, Lizzie, and Josie will do the spell."

I said, " Okay."

I sat down on the couch, and the nurse out the IV in my arm, and the other part in the fake heart. The blood started pouring into it.
