The Summer sun was out shining all over San Fernando valley Utah

"Get him out!" Ada yelled as he stepped on second plate

Benny ran towards third and started running for home until Squints passed the ball to Ham at home plate who passed it to Yeah-Yeah at third

"Pickle!" Ham yelled as everyone gathered around watching as Ham and Yeah-Yeah desperately tried to get the Latino out

Benny faked running for third as he ran towards home last second
A footprint laid on that home plate

Everyone groaned as Ada sarcastically clapped for him
"Well done Benny, but we'll get you out next time"

Benny laughed at the brunettes comment "Sure you will"

Before anytime can reply a groan was noticed
"Oh no!"

Squints grabbed everyone's attention before it drifted to the entrance of the sandlot, where Phillips and his little crew were

Everyone threw their glove on the ground and stomped towards the rich kids as a confused Scotty trailed behind them like a lost puppy

The 10 kids stopped infront of the others with glares on the face
Until Phillips broke the silence

"Eh it's easy when you play with a bunch of rejects, a girl, and a uh fat kid Rodriguez" Phillips teased as he leaned on his bike

Ada's brows furrowed

"Shut your mouth Phillips!" Benny yelled angrily

"What did ya say crap face?" Ham yelled

Phillips shrugged "I said 'you shouldn't even be allowed to touch a baseball'" He responded "Except for Rodriguez are all an insult to the game"

"Come on, we'll take you on, right here, right now, come on!" Ham yelled hitting Squints shoulders as the sandlot kids agreed out loud

"We play on a real diamond Porter, you ain't good enough to lick the dirt off our cleats" Phillips said

"Watch it jerk" Ham hissed
