There's say
A legend
When you're bad
When you weep
When you show any emotions
The monster under your bed
Will creep
Taking your heart
Every bits of it
Leaving you drained and empty
As
told to every child
Not you.
Nothing was new
Everyday felt like you were on the
Edge
Pricked by thorns
Held by the neck
You thought you were strong
Enough to handle
What has come
.
.
.
One night
Howls cursed upon you
By that time it ringed later
Your eyes were filled with blood
Oozing through the veins
coughing up to see
The shadow
No
The monster
You didn't do anything wrong
Did u?
U never did
.
.
.
As the room was dark
Menace risen up
Your eyes searched for a gap to escape
One squeeze
One second
your eyes turned blank
Punching the shadow's hard grip
You gasped for air
As the moonlight shone on you
They left.
You hurried
grab for the door
As you reached the knob
It turned into dust
Locked
Trapped
You felt smaller
Felt more alone
Felt more distressed
Behind you
The shadows were filled with
A greenish aura
suffocating you
With no mercy
.
.
.
Tick tock
You were awaken under the embrace of the
dawn
You touched your eyes
It was fine
You touched your neck
It was alright
However was unsettling
Even if it wasn't real
You couldn't remember
Poor little one
