"Well, I don't want her to leave right now so, no."

"Who's that?" You interrupted from behind Eren.

"Armin. Didn't even know he still had my number," Eren enlighten after ending the call and looking at you.

"Oh...what did he want?"

"Don't know. I hung up before he replied but he asked if you were with me,"

"You told him I was with you??" You asked with a little bit of urgency in your voice.

"Yeah...? Was I not supposed to?"

"No no it's fine but he gets pissed whenever he knows I'm with you. It gets annoying sometimes so I don't always tell him," you sighed while taking a sip from your slushie.

"Oh...sorry I guess-"

"You don't need to apologize, you didn't know. I'm not embarrassed to be with you or anything if that's what you're thinking," you reassured hesitantly and reached into your pocket and shut your phone all the way off.

"Okay-"

"We're friends. Whether you like it or not, people who aren't friends don't do stuff like this so just accept it." You demand intensely before he could walk out the door.

"Okay,"  he opened the door with the slushie in his hand and started walking out.

You followed behind him after his dry response and he only walked a bit further before he made a right turn and sat on a bench against a wall. You joined him and he pulled out his phone to start playing video games again.

You sat next to him and just drank your slushie in silence while staring at the wall.

"What are we waiting for?"

"For her to get out of surgery. There's nothing else to do here, "Eren replied calmly.

His eyes were glued to his screen that was turned sideways and the slushie he put by his feet. You weren't complaining since this was the first just chill day you've had in quite some time, you were fine for about an hour before you found yourself yawning repeatedly.

Your drink was empty and you yawned a final time; shutting your eyes in the process and leaning to the side. Leaning so much to the side that you planted your head onto Eren's shoulder snugly and unapologetically. You kept your eyes closed and he didn't move you or even react to your body hitting his.

Almost like it was natural for the two of you, except it wasn't. You'd never shown any signs of affection forwards each other, understandably so, it still should've sparked a different reaction but it didn't. He just continued to play his game and you fell asleep right then and there like it was nothing.

You shut your eyes to the sound of video game fighting from his phone, it didn't seem to bother you that much since he played it so frequently around you. You didn't have much of a plan for leaving but you assumed you'd leave before it got dark, seemed like you were more exhausted than you thought because when you woke up it was dark outside.

You opened your eyes and looked to the side, he was still playing on his phone and you found yourself laying on him. You quickly moved off him in embarrassment.

"Sorry..."

"You should be, my shoulder hurts now," he rubbed his shoulder in an exaggerated motion and a little chuckle.

You side-eyed him and looked at the window behind you both, only to find that it was dark out and the only light there was in the hall came from Eren's phone.

"How long was I asleep for? What time is it?"

"It's 9 pm and you were asleep for four hours." He replied before glancing at you.
