"Um...?" You mumbled waiting for his reply.

"It's nothing."

"Whenever people say "it's nothing" it always ends up being something so just tell me what you were trying to hide."

"It's just so that you wouldn't have to deal with a Hitch and Ashley provoking you. I'm not hiding anything I just didn't want you to deal with that,"  he explained calmly.

"Oh okay. Thanks-"

"I'm gonna go see my mom again before visiting hours are over. I'll see you tomorrow night, yeah?"

You nodded and he got up to leave. You could read in peace again so you continued to lay down and read your book and figure out how or when you would tell Eren. This feeling was bubbling up inside you, you wanted to tell him sometime next week...of course, you always planned everything but now you just wanted to think of how you would say it.

You went to sleep early and happily, this was one thing you were sure of. Maybe you'd invite him out to eat or something or something even more casual so it would be less awkward.

"What should I wear tonight?" Mikasa asked, she put two shirts up to her chest in the mirror and you and Sasha sat on her bed; around an hour before Eren said he'd get you for the party.

"Something short-"

"Sasha!" Mikasa snapped.

"Mm, I like the one on the left," you laughed at her as Sasha was laying down and you observed Mikasa.

"Me too!"

I can't come take u guys so I'll just meet u inside.

"Eren says we can just go. He'll meet us inside-"

"Speaking of Eren! Are you finally willing to admit that you like him? No denying it now since I've seen you, two kids," Mikasa pestered as she searched through her dresser.

"You two kissed again?! And I missed it!?"

"Fine...just a little bit though!" You sighed and Sasha leaned up out of Mikasa's bed with a smug expression.

Mikasa turned around too and had the same look on her face.

"We told you," they said at the same time, both their eyebrows were raised at you and you rolled your eyes.

"No comment." You stood up so you could wait for her outside the door with Sasha and she could change.

"I think I'll tell him I like him this upcoming week. I was reading an article about confessing your feelings earlier," you announced as Mikasa walked out her door.

"I'm rooting for you. You guys are cute,"

"Agreed!" Sasha added whilst the three of you made your way out the room and across campus to Historia's housing.

"Go find Eren! Sasha and I are gonna go play Just Dance," Mikasa insisted as you walked into the house and people passed by constantly.

You nodded and looked around for Eren's face, you looked around the living room where Sasha and Mikasa were getting ready to play until you found him.

Leaning against the wooden table, he had one hand holding up on the table and the other wrapped around a red cup he was sipping out of and laughing with the guy he was talking to.

It was a rare sight to see him laughing with other people, it was quite refreshing to see him in such a social atmosphere. It was so fulfilling to see him in general, you always seemed to want to spend more and more time with him as your relationship progressed; romantically or not.
